Only GSP and Brock were even closely to being paid fairly and they weren't paid fairly and they walked.
Conor isn't even close to their level of popularity -- both had huge popularity outside MMA; GSP bringing in non-fight fans and women, and Brock brought over a big chunk of the WWE crowd.
I hope he gets paid well, because teh UFC has been scamming the athletes for a long time ("lockerroom bonuses - HA!) but his attraction to flash might indicate that he can be easily handled with flash, but hopefully not.
