I just can't understand how Aldo took bombs from so many other fighters, yet that one punch from McGoobz completely put him out. The way I see it, there's only a couple possibilities.
1. That left counter was picture perfect. Jose's movement towards the punch combined with McGoobz accuracy was too much and it KO'd him.
2. The IV ban took away Aldo's chin the same way it took away most of the other fighters' chins. Also Aldo might have been roiding (which I wouldn't be surprised to hear because of all the sketchy IV shit that has happened with him and his camp)

Anyway no, bone density is a far greater variable on weight than height is. If you're tall and have dense bones, you're going to be heavy. Guess what, if you're short and have thick bones you're still going to be fucking heavy.
Anderson Silva is tall. He's still not heavier than anybody in the HW division. Why? Because he's a lanklet. Gustafsson is tall as fuck. Still not heavier than most heavyweights. Same for Jones. And anybody else. Denser bones means more weight regardless of height.
It's not an exception to the rule, it's common sense.
