Ok in all seriousness, how GOAT is Curry?
I've watched basketball for about 2 years now and when I started Curry was becoming an All-Star. He definitely wasn't considered (by NBA media) the best point guard let alone the best player at that time, it was all LeBron or Durant (Westbrook for best PG). Now obviously the Warriors were exceptional last season and so was Curry and I think that fact the Warriors were so good put Curry in MVP tier. Would he be considered so highly without his amazing team?
I'm not bashing Curry though, he quickly became a favourite whilst I was learning the sport, I was able to relate to his skill and shooting. I currently think he's the best offensive player and I can see the sport evolving to lean towards smaller, finesse, passing players rather than size and athleticism.
You cant call Curry GOAT right now as he's half way through his career, but if he continues to play at this level, maybe win some more championships, would you put him up there with Jordan, Magic, Bird etc?

it already does, assuming he can stay at the level he's been at for the past year or so.
His defense really isn't that bad. It's above average. In terms of overall rating that he adds to a team he's arguably already the GOAT my only point was that the offensive argument was over which many many people will debate for years to come regardless of what curry does.

Good points. It's not really possible to fully evaluate a players career until a while after their retirement. Even then, the GOAT in any sport is impossible to truly decide when the top candidates players decades apart (like in football with Pele, Maradona, Messi). Jordan is the exception to the rule as he was considered GOAT whilst still playing and nobody argues that.
