There's probably a reason for this but why do they cut weight and then re-hydrate a large amount? They still end up fighting at different weights.
Why don't they cut weight much earlier in their camp so that they're both fighting at 145 and hydrated?
I had idiots green text me in the last thread saying I have no idea how weight cuts work. I don't. I'd actually like to understand why my suggestion isn't viable in comparison to the current system

cutting weight is a strategic attempt to be the bigger and stronger fighter. A lot of the time each fighter cuts a similar amount of weight as their opponent so they are very close in size. you end up with 170 pound men fighting eachother even though the fight is at "145" they have both rehydrated to 170.
