Comparing any player who played a majority of his career in the zone defense era to Michael Jordan is pointless. Zone defense completely changed the NBA, making defensive teams like the Spurs, whom I happy to be a fan of, very successful when they otherwise wouldn't have been. Statistically, Michael Jordan was a monster and very exciting to watch but I really don't think he's the greatest of all time. When you compare Jordan's individual accomplishments to someone like Gretzky, he gets beat every time. Gretzky, in my and in SI's opinion, is the true GOAT of the twentieth century.
