With New England falling apart last night, it gave Denver the first round bye. If this stays, do we have a chance at winning the Owl? Either with Os or Healthy Manning at the head.
I think it is a realistic chance. We have a great defense, and as long as the Offense doesn't turn over we win games. Not by huge margins granted, but win nontheless.
Also is Davis and Anderson out for good? I did not like that at all.

depends on if they stick peyton back in. if they do, you won't win. he'll choke it away. and brock isn't exactly lighting up defenses, they're only averaging 19 PPG in regulation in his tenure. while you guys might have the best chance to go to the owl, it's gonna be tough with whatever team comes out of the NFC

Brock doesn't turn over though, and that is all the Broncos need. a Super Star QB would be great, but Brock opens up the run game and doesn't turnover, and which definitely helps our already strong defense

Idk if Brock can't start putting up points they might hafto put Peyton back or we can't win I know our defense is good but in the playoffs I guarantee there is going to be at least one team that scores around 30 points on Denver and he hasn't been able to put up that many. I know he don't throw picks but he needs to be a little more daring or we will play a good game but just get out scored.

that said, osweiler is the 'smart' choice, peyton has been hot garbage even during most of the regular season and I can't imagine him looking good coming off of an injury AND in playoffs

Special teams played poorly and Brady gave up a freak pick-6. They demolished the Eagles statistically.
That isn't to take away from the Eagles, but the Patriots can clearly take from this and move on, I don't think it's an indictment of the rest of the season.
Brady is getting more used to his receivers, White in particular is promising as the new 3DB.
Manning does not deserve to start again this year.

The main problem right now is experience. Brady was used to throwing to 4 guys in a specific offensive setup.
Now he's throwing to 3 new guys and an old guy (Amendola) in a new role.
Brady throwing deep balls is reflective of the offense changing, it takes time to build rapport.

I don't think the Broncos offense with Osweiler at the helm is potent enough to survive the playoffs. Denver's defense has been elite for most of the year but some chinks the armor are starting to show. And if for some reason Manning comes back and demands to play they are fucked because playoff Peyton in an outdoor stadium is basically giving the game away.
