Here's my analysis as a Tennessee fan:
Coker is the most inconsistent quarterback of all time. He only has two modes: 3rd String ACC qb and Heisman mode, there is no inbetween. What makes this worse is it is not which Coker will show up to this game, it is which Coker will show up to this play, but who you really have to worry about is Henry. Henry's real power is in the fact that he never fatigues. He has been shut down in a lot of first halves this season, leading to opponents thinking they found the way to beat Alabama, only to run all over them in the second.
I don't think any team can beat Alabama on defence unless Coker decides to turn it over six times, which he very well might.
On Defense, Alabama is a run team too, they have a great line, and their linebackers aren't to be fucked with either. however, their secondary is kinda shit, so if Cook is healthy, I think he can beat them in a shootout.
The thing I would worry about then is Cook staying healthy, because no matter how fast, or how good Cook is, the defense is going to put him on his ass quite a few times.
So, if Michigan St can force Alabama into a shootout, I think their is a good chance they can pull out a win, mostly depending on how many times Coker throws the ball away. If you try to get into a land war, it's going to be a blowout.

all of these extra playoff games can be played in the regular season. everyone thinks we need extra playoff spots because no one plays more than 1 P5 team every year. If the committee or conference commissioners or whoever starts enforcing this then rarely will a team finish undefeated.

No, it doesn't, they look at strength of schedule, "power 5" is never mentioned in the charter. It so happens that power 5 schools typically have more weight in the SOS because they typically are better but power 5 is literally a media tool and nothing more.
