Hey broskis, what's the best madden game to get. Is it worth paying full price for 16, or should I grab 15/14/25/13? I think I saw 16 for 65$ and 13 for $25. Never played a madden before, only recently into handegg, looking for what's best to continue fuelling the fire I've found in myself for this shit. Also, will be playing on Xbox 360, probably don't care about multiplayer much. Might try it but will most likely get keked every game like Brady today.

Listen to me carefully: DO NOT start playing Madden if you've only recently gotten into football. It'll warp your perspective on a beautiful game. Madden faggots are running the nfl for everyone. Make sure you actually understand the real game before Madden football becomes your understanding of it.

Get Madden 12 for the PS3 or 360. Why? Last Madden to have create-a-team, ultimate team was actually interesting, and the franchise mode was based. Plus no Phill Simms, there is the godly Gus Johnson.

It's hard to watch many games in upside down land, and figured madden would help understand names and plays and shit a bit better. I started watching in about week 5 or 6.
This was the first madden I played since '08 and it was pretty bad

There are older, but glorious faces, like Tramon Williams, Greg Jennings, Jermichael Finley (as a Pack fan, I miss him), Nick Collins, but no Eddie Lacy, new players. It's fun to play the past. Trade for Peyton Hillis if you do a default career mode.

Its pretty impossible to find a shop that sells Xbox classic games here. Ps2 games are still sold, never had a ps though. I remember playing an nfl games when I was a lot younger and it was fun, thought it was on n64, may have been ps2, brother had one at my place for a little bit.

I hate playing it on xb1. On ps2 you used to be able to skip stupid cut scenes, now you have to watch them all. I've played countless 30 year franchises on those games. I remember trying to download rosters and get them on my PlayStation before online. Good times.

NFL 2K5 Is the best Overall Football.
APF 2K8 improved some gameplay aspects but lack individuality and some missing mechanics from 2K5 but those games are old.
theres a modding community for 2K8 and 2K5 but I highly doubt you want to play an 7 year old game.

To play with the college teams, you would have to buy NCAA 16, a game that is only college teams. The gameplay and teams are slightly more varied and there are more teams
