For a second I thought you were going to describe the dodgeball we played at my school but then you started talking about bowling pins and everything sounded a bit gay. When we played dodgeball, the gym was split into sections width wise so that the "active" areas each had another area behind them. When you were put out, you got put into the area behind the active players, where you were allowed to continue attacking them with balls and they then had to dodge from both the front and the back. Shit got intense.

Even in real football, there is often less than half a minute between plays. I don't know what you mean. There is literally enough time to huddle up, get the play call and lineup and run it. I'm positive you know nothing about American football. There is even a playclock to prevent excessive delays between plays.

did anyone play a game similar to dodgeball that was called Lorish? i'm from NC so maybe it was called something else (plus i googled it and can't find anything on it) but it was essentially every man for himself where if you got the dodgeball you could take 3 steps max and throw the ball at someone to try to get them out. if you got them out, they sat down and the only way you could get back in is if someone got the person who got you out got hit. it was kinda like an assassin and bonding game but it was really fun.
Our school had a big wooden fort, so we'd split into two teams, one team went up onto the fort, and the teams would throw stuff at each other and if you gave up or cried then you were out. We'd throw footballs, tennis balls, big sticks and rocks at each other but usually the teachers would stop it within 10 minutes or so. Don't think we ever finished a game

i haven't went thru the thread so idk but i grew up in wilmington delaware and we played matball where you play kickball with the bases as big play mats and you can go back and forth on the mats before trying to make it home, but cool part is any number of kids can stay on the bases so when kids ran we would run together as to not the first to get hit. .like dodgeball but playing kickball if it makes any sense??

THese were good but Football on the tarmac that fucked your knees or elbows up was GOAT. The amount of rough tackles and shit was glorious. Was always good when you had madman goalkeeper who would dive on the tarmac.
Tarmac was great but grass football had the roughest tackles. I'd say everyone who played got their leg broke at least once. I got my leg broke 2 times and I broke 3 guys legs and 1 arm. Even if you just came back from your broken leg you still played that shit.
Did any of you bros ever play "Tennis" in middle school? Not like the sport Tennis. I went to middle school in Chicago, and my class had this stupid fucking game where two kids would put their hands together like they were shaking hands, and then they would take turns slapping each other's hands as hard as fucking possible. The kid who pulls his hand away from the pain first loses.
I was the fucking GOAT at that game. One time me and my buddy slapped the shit out of each other for like 25 straight minutes at recess, there was a crowd of like 40 kids watching us. Both our hands were bright red and I couldn't feel my hand at all but somehow each slap still hurt like a fucking bitch. We ended up calling it a draw because neither of us would quit and the teacher caught us. We had to go to the hospital because my teacher thought we severed each other's arteries lmao.
