Look at this dumbass. The Jewdell-led NFL has been pushing its >muh integrity in football, yet have ruined a shit ton of games because of piss-poor officiating. Every team has gotten fucked, but it's only okay to be displeased when it's the 31 other teams, right? And with how the organization has treated the Patriots in the recent past, it makes you wonder why so many bad calls have been made against them this season. And the thing is the NFL doesn't give a SHIT about the bad officiating, except a "whoops lol". The whole integrity thing is stupid imo, but they should focus on that a lot more than seeing who smoked weed or did something in their personal life.
As for last night's game, I'm not going to blame it all on the officiating (looking at you Harper Stone Hands and McDaniels/Brady for not killing the clock), but it did have an effect on the outcome.

Fuck off with this delusional bullshit.
>>63929490
Don't blame the NFL.
Blame the literal sport of Football for shit officiating. Don't you remember the strike a few years back, when we had the college crews come out? Was that any better than what we have now?
Besides, the officiating in football has always been shit.
The games today are getting harder and harder to call as plays happen faster and rules become more well-known to the public. Along with the fact that we have a multitude of amazing cameras and at home we can watch replay after replay for days after the plays happen, we simply see the shitty plays more often and more clearly.
Combine this with the fact that fans fucking HATE long delays to look at replays, and you have a staff of refs that have no choices. They have to make a judgment call quickly, and they have to check the replay quickly. And that's not even taking into account all of the things they can't see, or simply missed.
The one saving grace is that at least all teams are getting the same shitty crews making the same shitty calls on both sides. Until we become advanced enough to have every play instantaneously reviewed by computers/robots/some shit, we will just have to deal with the fact that our favorite teams' seasons can be impacted by the shittiness of actual human beings.
But hey, at least it's not as bad as the officiating in the NBA right? That shit's rigged as fuck.
This is the 42nd #Browns last-minute loss since 1999 and the 22nd time it has happened on the last play.

That was such a horrible time to be a football fan.
And true on everything else you said, it's bad enough that the game has so many pauses and commercial breaks, forcing the refs to review every bad call would mean a slower game. 3(three) hours for 1(ONE) hour of gameplay? Shit's gay af senpai tbqh
Only thing that comes to mind is having a set of yes ontop to actual view the replays and contact refs asap so they can make the right call. Oh well

Peterson is 6'2 and Gurley is 6'1
It's not bad at all if they have a big build, most 6'3 players are usually linebackers because their coaches told them to play it in high school
Henry is just a freakishly huge athletic beast. As it stands he's 6'3 244lbs but can trim down to 230 and be as fast as AP and still have 20 lbs of muscle on him
he's an extremely bright prospect to me. It's either Henry or Bosa for the Titans. Leaning on Bosa since he can stop the run and rush the passer.

>You can see this in the team’s expected points added (EPA), which tracks how many net points can be credited to each phase of the game. EPA says Carolina possesses a strong rushing attack and the league’s top defense against the pass,5 so even though the Panthers’ passing offense is also above average, it isn’t the team’s strongest suit. This stands out when compared with the other 11 Super Bowl-era teams to start 11-0: Only those ’69 Rams averaged fewer EPA per pass play (relative to the league) than Carolina has,6 with most getting far more production through the air than Newton’s Panthers:

>While the Panthers’ unbeaten run is an outlier among 11-0 starts, both in quality and composition, there are far worse fates than potentially being the worst team to accomplish the feat. In fact, how they’ve done it emphasizes how impressive the streak is: 11 wins without a loss in the NFL is truly rarified territory, and Carolina got there without putting up the rarified stats that typically go along with the record. Put another way: The Panthers win ugly.

If it wasn't Manziel and it wasn't the Browns none of this would be happening. Manziel has that rowdy history, and he hasn't shown the elite talent that would get the coaches to let this slide.
On the other hand, the Browns have to show Manziel that he needs them, not the other way around, in order to get him in line. But that's not the case since it's the Browns. Although Davis did look pretty good, albeit against the Ravens D

>Gilbert is on an island in a way, just not the way the organization wanted. While other Browns players generally make an effort to get to know each other in the locker room and cafeteria, Gilbert is usually by himself, sometimes even leaving the facility during the free hour period before practice. Team good guy Joe Haden attempted to mentor Gilbert this offseason by working out with him in Miami, but Gilbert continued to push away veterans looking to help guide him in Cleveland. He’s isolated himself from the team.
>Healthy scratches are the norm for Gilbert. The team realized they had reached the point of no return during a game in the middle of last season. The cornerback missed the mandatory team bus at 10:30 a.m. and had to be frantically located by the Browns security team. Gilbert showed up shortly after noon. One teammate nearly had to be restrained, his anger bubbling as Gilbert stood there smiling, eating candy.
>Nine months later, in joint training camp practices against the Bills that featured 180 total players, nobody was worse than Justin Gilbert. When he aggravated a hip flexor, teammates privately told me they were thankful — his play was embarrassing all of them. In two short afternoons he was exposed for what he is: an athletic specimen, not an NFL cornerback.
Farmer didn't go to the pro day for any of the rookies or even bother meeting Gilbert before drafting him.

by your logic, there are 2 "elite" teams every season that fail to make the playoffs
Aaron Rodgers’ 62.4 quarterback rating against the Bears on Thanksgiving was not only his worst of the season but worse than any game Jay Cutler has had this season
Da burrs must feel good.
>Russel Wilson has thrown 8 TD passes in the past 2 weeks
>he only has 18 on the season
that means he played 10 weeks in the NFL and only got 10 touchdowns? and they're paying him HOW MUCH?
>>63933660
he didn't have a worse rating when he threw for 77 yards against the broncos? i guess because he didn't throw an interception
>>63933705

quarterbacks that have more include tom brady, jameis winston, joe flacco, kirk cousins, ryan fitzpatrick, drew brees, josh mccown, carson palmer, jay cutler, matt stafford, and ryan mallett
>>63933660
Rodgers before said beating the bears is fun.
Also the water flooding lambeau field got pumped into the bears sideline
And the Packers completely disrespected the bears defense by going for it on 4th and 2 early on.
They deserved to lose that game and Bears like Phernell McPhee are really enjoying this payback.
>>63933748
This Bears team has a pulse for the first time since Urlacher. It's really exciting to watch, even at 5-6.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (CBS) – The comments made by Aaron Rodgers after the Packers’ 31-23 win over the Bears in September seemed innocent enough to those outside of Halas Hall and likely to many inside the facility.
ADVERTISING
Not known as one for controversial comments, Rodgers expressed joy after the season-opening win at Soldier Field.
>“It’s always fun beating the Bears,” Rodgers said to the media after the Sept. 13 game.
>On Thanksgiving at Lambeau Field, the Bears got even with Rodgers and the Packers, earning a 17-13 win over Green Bay. After the game, the team celebrated in the locker room, even carrying coach John Fox around as music played.
>The Bears savored this victory over their division rival. It got them to 5-6 on the season, closer to the postseason push, and acted as apparent revenge on Rodgers. Linebacker Pernell McPhee — the man who said the strategy to contain Rodgers was to “hit his ass” — felt the bad blood flowing as he took to Lambeau Field.
>“This game going in was personal,” McPhee said. “C’mon, the quarterback said he loves beating up on us. Who does he think we are? We’re not the team we were last year, two years ago, three years ago. It’s 2015 Chicago.”

Tbqh that 4th and 2 call was to unsettle the defense. They bit on mot of the hard counts on 3rd down that night because of the 4th and 2 call.

I mean, how can a nigga not be skeptical when he has a career 5 OPI over bs, slight push-offs that WRs are known and allowed to do. Because what? Of his his size? Then they should actually make it a rule and apply it to every player.
>>63934006

It's the same reason southerners sound like slow retards and why native Japanese speakers can't into L's and R's, he picked up an accent when growing up. Language development happens mainly during the pre-adolescent years as well, and he spent those years in the Oakland projects.
there is no "normal" because there are hundreds of different accents in the US.

panthers fans should be begging to lose a game in the regular season, otherwise they are 100% going 16-1 and its not even a question
How serious is turf toe? How long would Ellington be out? David Johnson is good and everything but it would be better if Ellington didn't miss too many weeks. Like on average how many weeks are people out with turf toe if any?

No because then every bandwagoning Patriots fan would play the "muh terrorism" card every time they engage in conversation and all the other teams would show solidarity. That's not the world I want to live in.

>According to Jones, the problems with Gilbert stem from his personality and lack of caring about other members of team or playing football.
>Among the troubling details, the article claims that key members of the organization didn’t even vet Gilbert and meet with him prior to the selection. “But what’s troubling about the matter is that Gilbert’s personality problems are apparent to anyone who’s been around him for longer than a day,” says Jones.
>Gilbert, who has started only two games at cornerback since being drafted, is described as aloof, withdrawn, and having a false sense of entitlement that “rubs people the wrong way.” Last year, he missed a mandatory team bus, had to be located 90 minutes later, and then according to the story, a teammate had to be restrained because “Gilbert stood there smiling, eating candy.”

For the Raiders? It was great.
