What basketball movies are actually good? I just realized I'm a lifelong basketball fan yet the only one I've seen is Space Jam.

White Men Can't Jump is good. Above the Rim and Hoosiers are worth watching. He Got Game is good if you can stomach Spike Lee. Coach Carter is watchable.
Hoop Dreams is a must watch documentary if you haven' seen it.

Obviously not movies but the 30 for 30 series is incredible, and the one's focused on basketball (several) are all great. Particularly "Bad Boys" "Survive and Advance" and "Winning Time". "Fab FIve" isn't terrible based on how much Jalen Rose you can stomach. Others like "The Annoucement" (Magic's HIV saga) and "No Crossover" (Trail of Allen Iverson) are less focused about on-the-court basketball but still great stories.
