Rooney is probably the most overrated player of the past few years. Not that I wouldn't take him on my team but he simply isn't a god tier striker. He is a notch below golden boot winning guys like Suarez, Aguero and Van Persie.

Unfortunately they'll never be as bad as us, off the pitch at least. But United has gotten lazy in competing with the oil clubs and the big three. Financially they are only behind Barcelona and Real Madrid. They don't have the benefit of playing in a one team feeder league like Buyern but should still be able to complete with anyone. When you combine the fact that they are the most popular club in the world it's a shame that they aren't stacked like Buyern, Uefalona or RM.
