More like Dallas Cowboys and Inter.

Yes, but at least Juventus has some history and culture behind it. I'm no fan of handegg but I'm pretty sure the patriots first super bowl championship was in 2001.

>>
>>63795098
This is objectively correct.
>>
>>63795099
Baseball is the number one sport in Japan, Cuba, South Korea, Taiwan, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. It also has some popularity in Canada and Mexico. It's not as globally relevant as soccer (or even cricket), but it's definitely relevant outside of the US.

The Red Sox have been doing better than >us for the past 11 years though, just like Barca has been doing better than Real.

Arsenal-St. Louis Cardinals

Smuggest fanbases in sports

More like the Mets and Arsenal.

Both from big cities, but run like they're from small markets and all that talk with no silverware to show for it.

'No'

Spot on.
>>
Newcaslte-NY Giants
>>
>>63795955

The Giants actually win things though. Newcastle is more like the Oakland Raiders-team from a rough city that the rest of the country makes fun of, known for their permanently depressed and crazy fans.

they have there mouth so far on US's cock its ungodly, they are so fucking plastic
>>
>>63797023

South Korea got baseball from Japan, not from the US. The same goes for Taiwan. Basically, Japan picked up baseball from American sailors in the 1870s, and then when they conquered Korea and Taiwan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries they brought it with them.
>>
>>63795506
I support both these teams, this is fucking correct
>>
>>63797126
nah at first american preachers tried to spread baseball in korea but it didnt quite work. baseball in korea actually doesnt have much of history as it does in japan. it only became mainstream after the league was formed out of the blue by the government in the 1980s
>>

Still wrong.

I knew about 4chan since it was started but I never had any interest in it until you guys starting significantly affecting things outside of 4chan, so I started coming to /b/ in 2010 to study it and ended up getting sucked into it, then right when I was starting to get kind of bored of it [s4s] was created and those first couple of months where it was hidden were totally ridiculous and i had never seen anything else like it on le internet, so i got super involved and then [s4s] progressed and i lost interest at a couple points but i always keep coming back because even though we get fig newtons and rudeposters, the core of goodness that was at the heart of the original [s4s] is still here in some form and there's still really no where else like this for me.

thanks for reading my blogpost

Hell no. The mets fucking suck at baseball 90% of the time. They get one good season a decade. Arsenal are consistently at or near the top of the game. The mets are like blackburn rovers.
>>
The Buffalo Bills and Leicester City FC are literally the same team

4 Super Bowl appearances, no rings
4 FA Cup Finals, no wins(and no top-flight football championships)

I always think of Liverpool and the Red Sox as being equivalent.

They both had an era of domination that they are still smug about and they both always look as if they're going to succeed only to fuck it up at the last minute. 2004 is the Red Sox's Istanbul.

Think about it.
>>
>>63802008

The Red Sox are just Liverpool with better luck.
>>
>>63802027
The luck of the Irish?
>>
>>63795003

I would say they are more comparable to Man utd than Real Madrid desu lad

Top kek. This is what Arsenal fans actually believe. Aston Villa have a better european pedigree than Arseshit.
>>

BMG have won the league though.

Real Madrid - Los Angeles Lakers
Barcelona - Boston Celtics (pre-2009)

>>

Really? I thought Man United only really became dominant in the 1950s, and they were in Liverpool's shadow for a long time in the 70s and 80s. Their league is also a lot more competitive, they only have two more title wins than the second-most successful teams and 7 more title wins than the third-most successful team.

The Yankees, on the other hand, have been winning on a consistent basis since 1920s. They have an insane 41 American League titles*, more than the next 3 most successful teams combined. They have a tradition of buying up all the top players that goes back to 1919, 27 World Series titles (their closest competitor has just 10), and they're so arrogant that their players don't even have their names written on the backs of their shirts (you're expected to just know them because it's the Yankees).

*Winning the American League or National League is more comparable to winning the league in Europe than winning the World Series, because it was given to the team with the best record until 1970.

Do people from Dallas also do things like this:

well of course not, it was found on Merseyside

100%. So do the Steelers, but it's a little less embarrassing because they've actually been GOOD recently. And I'm Ravens fan saying that.

>>63802156
The St. Louis Cardinals have 11.

By the way it's surprising the STL Cardinals haven't been mentioned in this thread.

>By the way it's surprising the STL Cardinals haven't been mentioned in this thread

The Cardinals are Arsenal.
>>
>>63802207
Cardinals are nothing like Arsenal. They actually have good fans and are largely successful on the big stage.

Cardinals =Liverpool
>>
>>63796155
this

Raiders would be a mixture of Leeds/Millwall
>>
>>63802156

If you are talking in terms of titles alone then I suppose you havea point but I thought you were comparing the clubs in terms of fame, stature and popularity
>>
>>63802376
Dallas is obviously Liverpool and there is no dispute. Cardinals might be current Man U. Very good history, great run of success over the last 25 years, and they are currently competitive and contending even though what made them great recently has left (Fergie for Man U and Pujols for the Cardinals) within the last few years
