What I did to get my bro into MMA was show him a handful of classic fights a couple days before the first PPV he watched with me. That way I could show him what the sport could really be about. I told him about the upcoming card, who was who, and why they were important fights. He took to that approach very easily. Then by the next PPV he had done some research on the fighters on that card and had a whole bunch of questions. It was like that for quite a while and he's barely had to ask me a question he couldn't answer himself in years.
