The Montreal Canadiens are the absolute best team in hockey, in any league, NHL, KHL, you name it. They are playing as one; each player can count on his linemate to be exactly where they anticipate and they are moving fluidly as a unit.
Simply put beating the Habs comes down to puck luck and capitalizing on scoring chances (though the Canadiens are top 5 in GA/GP) because a full strength Montreal team is just stronger and faster and better equipped than the opposition.
This isn't some home ice advantage gimmick ala 5th line, though Montreal does have very boisterous fans and a famed crowd, and it isn't because they are on a lucky streak.
This is when a coach and GM have assembled the pieces required to fit the scheme designed and it working as intended. This is when the cogs are all turning and the wheel is spinning. The watch face is ticking because each little intricate piece is doing exactly what it needs to do.

Doesn't a fwd who hit 76 points last year and a D-man who hit 56 points last year warrant serious consideration when its public knowledge that Hamonic WANTS out?
