There are people on this board that do not understand the concept of a decoy game or series of games. I'm not saying the Seahawks threw the game, but it's possible they weren't really trying to win.
Think about it, losing to the Cardinals doesn't hurt their chances at all for a seed in the playoffs. Knowing that, the seahawks played to trick the future playoff opponents into preparing for weaknesses.
Do you really think Russell getting held to 32 points is legitimate? It would be very easy for the offensive line to just play like shit on purpose, without making it obvious causing the rest of the league to prepare thinking they are going against a struggling O Line.
Same goes for the defense. Denver exploited the same soft coverage/wide open middle of the field that the Chargers did. The defense didn't look much worse than against the Chargers. Now everyone is going to gameplan their offense based on this "weakness", that has likely been corrected.
