Will he ever get tired of being GOAT, /sp/?
>>
One day he will burst into flames at out of the ashes a new tom brady will emerge
>>
>18-1
>>
>>63607838
Could you imagine how GOAT Brady would be if he won that game?

>5 rings
>perfect season

Its probably a good thing they didn't win, there would have been a lot of suicides.
>>
>>63607871
Can you imagine all the 19-0 threads every year?

>262/369 (71.0%)

If they went 19-0 this year, it would be the end of this board.

18-1? 19-0
Why should the Pats go undefeated twice when your team cant do it once?
It would be ogre for us all.
>>
>>63607979
It would prove either the NFL is corrupt to the core and Bellicheck is systematically destroying every other team's chance of victory somehow, or that Bellicheck and Brady together are light years of anything anyone has done in the modern era. There can be no in between for a team usually consisting of literally who wr's and rb's constantly putting up massive offensive numbers and a defensive system that outthinks and outplays the majority of teams it is put against. either they are so advanced its not fair or they are cheating so much its not fair
>>
>>63608052
bellicheck literally has changed the way the game is played offensively and has a QB capable of making throws consistently

Peyton did just as good at 37 and a few neck surgerieslater.
No belicheck no ring
His defense managed to give up a hail mary to not let him win another owl

Tom Brady is the only handegg player known outside of america. This automatically makes him the GOAT

Deion Branch
Wes Welker
Randy Moss
Aaron Hernandez

There's nothing literally who about it

he's unrelenting and cool to the last second

>>
>>63613979
don't forget corey dillon. I don't know why people try to say the pats have had bad skill position players for the past decade. that's false.
>>
>>63613979

The only reason Amendola is known is because he plays for the Pats.

7 good receivers over 15 years. Every other team in the league has that.
>>
>>63614342
they got corey dillon when he was 30, and had been benched for rudi fucking johnson
>>
>>63613979
>Deon branch
Why do people say he was good? He became a bench warmer as soon as he left New England and then when he came back he was a starter again.

Danny Amendola

Outside of Moss, you have a bunch of players that were below average when they played elsewhere or haven't played elsewhere.

It wold make sense

>19-0 being the destruction.

If Favre wasn't immortal, neither is Brady. He has two good years max left before he will hit the wall. Time isn't a defender you can out think, it will catch up to him and soon. Not saying this to be mean but he will not be in the league 5 years from now.
>>
>tfw brady is immortal
>>
>>63616779
>5 years from now
Five, maybe. He'll probably start training the next franchise QB by then, although if he was more selfish I'd definitely say he'd be playing in 5 years.

Dude treats his body like a temple, created an entire training regimen so he could throw 400 balls in a row without having a sore arm rather than 80 with a sore arm.
>>
>>63616800
Well if he is, I hope that he can handle whatever job squad coach follows up Bill.
>Brady is immortal
>everyone is proved right that he cheats by virtue of him being unaging
>Patriots stripped of picks until he retires
>Brady wins more rings than the Yankees anyway
>turns out he was waiting on Goodell to die just to fuck with him

>>63616924
The current oldest player in the league is Kicker adam vinatieri age 42. The oldest playing QB recent memory Vinny testaverde at 45 who spent his last 6 years as a backup. Favre had his best year at 40 and fell apart physically the next season. Peyton has been declining for a few years and he is 39 and doesn't have another year in him. Blanda was the one who staved off retirement longest at 48. Brady will be 43 in 5 years and he isn't as beat up as others but he has been hurt and surgically repaired parts don't hold up forever no matter how you treat yourself. Add to that the older he gets the more one lucky hit will be the end.
>>
>>63617242
There's no one ever in history that has gotten rid of the ball as fast as Brady

If you can't get to Brady in two seconds, you lose.

I think you meant 2015
well lets look at everyone that has won one in the last ten years
Rodgers looks shaky even at home
Peterson is winning CPOY
LT and Shaun Alexander are OOF
Brady is undefeated.
He won it going away as soon as Rodgers started this 3 game skid.
Serious. MVP race is over. Anyone who thinks Tom is not getting it have their head up their ass.
>>
>>63618187
>MVP?
>Browns have as many MVP's as Pats, Steelers, and Cowboys combined. That award is shit.
>>
Why hasn't Brady won MVP 5 times?
>>
>>63619192
Because
>Warner was the better QB in 01
>LT broke the Rush TD record
>Rich Gannon lead the Raiders to the Super Bowl in a Brady off year
>Alexander and Peterson rushed for 2000 yards
>Rodgers was the better QB in 11 and 14
>Peyton is that good in the regular season
>Steve McNair had a 100 Quarterback rating?
>>
>>63619546
he also had some poor years, 2011 was one of them. he wins, his stats aren't always showing, just pretty good every given week, his greatness shows in totals and in specialized stats, like 4th quarter stuff.

plus they have gotten better at producing early, he used to have alot more 4th quarter comebacks, but these days they rarely give up the lead and score first.

basically essential brady is SB 2014 and sunday's game. fumbles a bit more then manning, int's far less, diverse plan of attack, intense, requires a little luck, but clutch in the end of it all. stats show a good QB but nothing mindblowing, but he always makes it through.

Also who has less then 5 rushing TDs in their playoffs career? would make for a nice shit post, as brady has 5 post eason running TDs. Is that better then say pacman? or LT?
>>
>>63619192
2001: Warner was full greatest show on turf mode and brady was a literally who
2002: Brady didn't make the playoffs
2003: Brady might of deserved it, but his stats weren't that appealing. Trent Green should of won mvp but brady deserved it more than Manning.
2004: Manning had amazing season, brady won more games but wasn't the same stat wise.
2005: down year for the pats, hasselbeck, peyton, and maybe carson palmer all played better than brady
2006: LT has historically good year for running backs, peyton was probably the best qb this year.
2009: Brady has meh year, only 10 wins where as brees, manning, and favre all do incredible.
2011: Rodgers has historically great year, brady has good year as well but not quite as good and not as many wins.
2012: AP has historically good year, and peyton was probably a tad bit better statistically.
2013: one of brady's worse years as a pro
2014: Brady had a great year but Romo and Rodgers were a tad better statistically with the same amount of wins.

all in all brady should have 3 mvps but only has 2.

gotta get out of the past, the Giants haven't madet the playoffs in half a decade, haven't beat the pats in almost 5 years

Yeah, I meant 2015. Only other person I hear people discuss is Cam Newton and his stats are no where near as good.
