What number did you choose? if you played sports on an organized level before. If you haven't what number would you have chosen?
Don't tell me it was a meme number like #0 or #1.

I forgot to ask why did you choose that number?
36 was always my preferred baseball number. Only had that freshman year, then had 25 & 8 in sophomore & junior year because they only had 36 for the freshman jerseys.
#4 in soccer, #23 in baseball
My small, weak, thin, pathetic ass played with #88 to honor my hero Terry Glenn.

In Kindergarten and first grade, we had lines for lunch and we were each assigned a number. Kindergarten I was #3, first grade I was #6. It's the stupidest reason, but the number just kinda stuck in my head after that. Jered Weaver's pretty cool also, I guess.

50 in football. 34 in basketball. I chose 50, had used it in prior years too.
I didn't choose 34, was the only soph on the basketball team and prick coach escobar wouldn't let me choose my number. Just gave e 34 and said tough shit.
>>63482906
>fucking nerd
stop. I played sports and probably nerdier than him. I could probably kick your ass irl too.
stop being a faggot anon
>>63482510
I would choose the number 3
I wore 16 playing baseball (third base) and 31 playing football (cornerback/safety).
I didn't specifically pick those numbers. The equipment handed me a uniform and asked me if I had any preference for other numbers.
Some guys were very specific about their numbers, either because their favorite player wore them or they had some kind of meaning like their birthday or they were "lucky". Most of us liked wearing a uniform more than we cared about the specific numbers on it.
I wore 26 as both a DB (HS) and 3B (HS, College).
I was assigned the number in pee-wee football and it stuck. No one ever picks 26, so I never had other people try to snatch it up like everyone did with 23 because muh Jordan
17, I just picked it because it was the first Lacrosse jersey I found that was my size in the big ass pile.

#10
It was the number I was assigned in my first spelling bee in 3rd grade, where I placed alternate against all these older kids, so I considered it my lucky number. Found out shortly after that it was my dad's number. I played basketball and was a receiver in football, so it all worked out.
Was given #44 in high school basketball though because I was one of the tallest on the team (5'11", haven't grown since, fuck).
75 in football (OL/DL)
Played basketball in 6th grade, I can't remember number for sure might have been 20
>basketball
8
>football
Wore 8 my sophomore year, ended up wearing 44 because polish people always wear it and it looked intimidating
>>63482510
16. Hard to explain but was always a "lucky number" for me.
#92
It was the year I was born, and one of my heroes growing up was Michael Strahan. I still use it in the video games I play where you have to choose a number.

Baseball it was 3, the The Babe obviously.
7 because I like to play as a winger.
4 in hockey (defenseman)
17 in baseball (catcher)

19. I wanted 18 because it's lucky for Jews, but a senior had already claimed it my freshman year. Like any good kike I quietly ceded to him, ended up with solid 2nd-tier number. 2bh I now greatly prefer it to 18.

20 in football and basketball because I'm a winger and pretty fast and 20 seems like an aerodynamic number and in basketball because I'm a 3-pt expert like Ray Allen.
16 in American football because in school lists I am almost all the time that number and I have QB features.

I wore #46 when I played defensive back. My first choice #27 was retired.
I wore #14 when playing football in high school as a winger/striker. It was one of the few that were left (I was a benchwarmer at first) and Henry was GOAT back then so I chose that one.
If I played now I'd go with #69 just because someone is bound to get butthurt at the juvenile reference
>>63482510

#65 in Football
Myself and the guy who had the number before me were captains and starters every year, so I'd hoped the next kid would do it justice. Instead some Michael Sam faggot got it and rode the bench. Sucks desu senpai.
I know this might sound weird, but I wore different #s in each sport in honor of a NASCAR legend I respected.
In baseball I wore 43 for Richard Petty
in football I wore 51 for Neil Bonnett (who had recently passed away when I was old enough to start playing)
in basketball I wore 21 for David Pearson
I never wore 3 because Dale was still alive for most of my pee wee days....and I hated him. After he died I just continued to wear the 43 51 and 21

Would have chosen either 9 or 16 if I played QB. Would have chosen either 17 or 83 if I played WR. Would have chosen 45 or 86 if I played TE. And would have chosen 35 if S.
9 because it looks good and Jim McMahon.
16 because it was my favorite number when younger. Lincoln is also best president.
17 because Austin Collie.
83 because I just like the look.
45 because fuck it why not.
86 because I think it would look good.
35 because it looks great on S.
I always seemed to get either 3 or 23 in any sport I played.

In soccer and basketball, I was #5.
21 in football.
Just to be a retarded number for a winger.
We were not able to pick in baseball, was given 12. Would of picked 31 after Maddox.
Football had 84
Wore 4 at first when playing soccer (favre's number) but then went to 44 when I moved to a new team because 4 was taken.
