Which team would you rather have for a 38 game season? Consider defence, attack, leadership, motivation, ability, intelligence when you make your choice. Assume all players are in their peak. Any player can play in any position you wish.
NO TRANSFERS.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
>Team 1
Neuer
Maldini
Beckenbauer
Nesta
Solskjaer
>Team 2
Dida
G. Neville
Puyol
Heskey
Messi
>Team 3
Seamen
Ferdinand
Moore
Scholes
Shearer
>Team 4
Robinho
Balotelli
Quaresma
Ronaldo (BRZ)
Zlatan
>Team 5
Barthez
Zidane
Joe Allen
Crouch
Charlie Adam
i pick team 3
i would've picked 4 but they have no goalkeeper
Can someone delete this shit thread?
Team 6:
Abe Lenstra
Beb Bakhuys
Faas Wilkes
Kick Smit
Kees Rijvers
Called "The Dirty Old Nasties"
team 2 because messi
didn't know that football is played 5vs5 but anyway team#3 is probably the most balanced

More like "The Literally Whos"
I pick Scholes and Shearer desu. The greatest PL midfielder and greatest PL striker of all time. I've never seen Bobby Moore play so I have no idea if he is any good though.
Team 4 strictly because it looks like the team with the biggest meme potential
>>63475805
Team 4
Robinho from BR National team
Balotelli from City
Quaresma from Sporting
Ronaldo from Inter
Zlatan from Milan
This thread again. What type of social experiment are you doing here OP?
team 3 btw
Team 1 would be a good choice but >relying solely on Solskjaer to score for you for 38 games. Sure, they could defend well, I guess. >Beckenbauer nah, keep those old football players who can't compete with today's players out of the game
Team 2 is basically Messi+friends, good with him but if he has one night off you're fucked. Dida is a choker, Neville is overrated, Heskey is a bad joke, Puyol is good I guess (though not as good as team 1's defenders).
Team 3 is a joke. Too many english players, and >Moore (see: Beckenbauer)
Team 5's attack is a joke as well, Barthez and Zidane are both inefficient and overrated, and all those mediocre british strikers upfront would underproduce like hell.
>Team 4
This is the correct choice.
>Assume all players are in their peak
everyone else is fucked. Right mix of talent, stellar peak seasons and not relying on a single player and MOST OF ALL, the fact that they're all offensive players would ensure maximum efficiency in that third of the field.
Because who the fuck would let Messi build an attack with Heskey + nobodies and still expect him to perform at maximum efficiency?
>Players at their peak
Team 2 because of Messi
If it wasn't for Messi then Team 3 is the clear choice

a.k.a "The Whos"

Damn I feel like an old man, back when all the women were creaming themselves over Totti
>>63475805
I'd like a team with 11 players.
