Really need Alexis to miss out a match though
With that performance and so many injuries, it isn't a terrible result.
>>63423008
Terrible performance yep, great result considering.
Also LEL @ CHELSHIT AND LIVERPOO
>>63423072
you can't take points from us at home la' you lost 3-0
Arsenal is too beta to grab the first spot even when City gifts them the opportunity.

utter shite game by arsenal but glad they didn't lose. gibbs is honestly a better option than campbell
>>63423022
It didn't go soft
Spurs were fucking bullies and got away with it
I posted this before

Honestly even though we are level with City that game shows how far away from winning a title we are
United are literally going to finish above us. You can't unironically go into games with literally no attacking players on the bench and expect to win the league.
>>63423147

>>63423171
>no bellerin
>no ramsey
the entire right side is gone
If there was such thing as the opposite of Man of the Match, who would you pick?
For me it'd be Giroud or Cazorla. Cazorla was the worst player of the first half by far and Giroud wasted every single chance he got and was overall pretty useless
>>63423208
>outperformed
aka outstrengthed
Coquelin and Cazorla are better than him in everything but strength and height
Anyone now see why I hate Giroud? Spend most of his time complaining and fighting with the other team than he does doing fuck all
>>63423234
Debuchy is first choice.
Ramsey is shit on the wing.
>Giroud and Cazorla this game

he just had one of those games where nothing comes off
>>63423256

ramsey brings balance to the whole team. he strengthens the lightweight midfield while also being an excellent creator going forward. in comparison the likes of chamberlain and campbell offer absolutely fuck all
Who still /topform/ in here?
>>63423265
I hope he doesn't because he would take Wilshere's place.
>Debuchy with a head start getting beaten in a sprint by Eriksen
It's over. Assisted suicide is the only merciful option. Bring back Jenkinson, release Debuchy on a free.
Midfield is so fucking weak
>>63423250
you are really retarded, that's why no one likes you
>>63423306
>just didn't convert
this happens too often though. I mean the amount of chances ozil creates for him is absurd, it's like spitting on the face of god when he doesn't convert those
Not shocked, removing any sense of pace in our team in the forms of Theo, Ox and Hector (and to a lesser degree Aaron) and all you need to do is choke out our midfield and you're good.
Santi was smothered all game and rightly got taken off because he was never gonna contribute. Gibbs was great when he came on though, although he was always better going forward than Monreal.
>>63423360

>le Alli was good
The meme begins
>>63423306
>he played well. just didn't convert
See. in games where chances are few and far between and your striker is pissing away sitters, thats not playing well. Its a big game, you need someone to finish these big chances. We've seen this same thing before and we have to start to holding him accountable.
He didn't play well if he didn't do half his job

on paper that only really hard games until January 12 are City and on the 12th Liverpool. Maybe Soton but they are shit this season.
How about those players returning, I'm pretty sure Walcott and Ramsey will be sidelined for longer than the break, probably mid December. Ox will definitely be back and if >we are lucky Bellerin too.The real bulk will return in January and will need another month or two to get anywhere near being useful. By then the league will be over for Arsenal
already since the EL games will kill off any form of depth that returned (for every player that returns one will get injured).

Coquelin is pretty skilled. His problem is stamina in these kind of games. He is good when arsenal have the majority of the ball and need to cut out a break, or when he plays against a slow paced passing team and arsenal defend deep, but when he faces a high intensity midfield battle he can be found a bit wanting.

these are minor hamstring and calf issues due to not properly warming up. should take 2-3 weeks max
Is this the revival of Gibbs?
>>63424041

What you should be asking yourself is why Arsenal couldn't pick themselves up and actually play well against a team they are better than. At home. If this was away i would have agreed and gladly taken the point but this is at home, when you know your rivals fucked up, with a break and a few reinforcements coming. You win this and the season completely changes. But they choked.

they were tired. they had injuries. morale was low after the munich game

look at how bad they were on the pitch. they were utter garbage. but they got a point. city lost 4-1 to this team.
city fucked up at villa in a game that they probably dominated. that is a bigger fuckup by far
>>63423786

look at the injury table, just look and answer your own question. Wenger already said that the players 'might' be back after the break, that's a little to vague for something that only takes 2-3 weeks to heal. He didn't even mention Walcott btw so make of that what you will.

>>63424389
>they were tired. they had injuries. morale was low after the munich game
Ok, we all know this but you can only use this as an excuse for so long. Tiredness shouldn't be an excuse, these players are early in the season and all of them have played 3 games in a week a lot, and they have rarely had to so far. They'll be a bit knackered but tis still early enough in the season that that excuse shouldn't fly. Morale shouldn't even be mentioned considering this was the biggest derby the club has. Its all about THIS game.
>city fucked up at villa in a game that they probably dominated. that is a bigger fuckup by far
And thats why a win here would have been so huge. We HAVE to capitalize on these things.

Careful, you'll get memers saying he should never play there.
He has been shit this season, it's all been about Ozil. I don't know what's gone wrong. He did good stuff with Ozil in the first half, but he's gone AWOL with goals.
>>63423231
Don't think so. I just think he's been singled out as a key part of Arsenal and shit is worked out to deal with him. I also think he's knackered and needs a rest. Wenger should drop him for next game.

>light years ahead
>nobody gave a shit till he became GOAT cause Debuchy got injured for ages
>Coq
>nobody gave a shit about till he stood in for injured players
Fucking fickle fan base. Ramsey shouldn't be on the right.
I say play Debuchy as RB and Bellerin as RW. This means that Bellerin can come back to support Debuchy, but can use his pace for offensive reasons more often. Right wing has no pace, so Bellerin would solve that. Also, Wenger needs a top top striker, pref one with speed. He needs to sort Sanchez out too, what the fuck has gone wrong.
If Arsenal had a fully fit team, they'd be amazing, but they don't. There are no good back-up strikers either.
The board wont allow Wenger to sign a £40m+ player unless they're under 24. This has been the case since they started the stadium being built. In fact, they won't allow £20m or more be spent on a player under 24. They want re-sale value. Wenger is constantly throttled by the board,, which is why he signs Youths in the hope they come GOAT and he can sell them for profit.
People call Sperms the Jews, but the Arsenal board is worse. It also doesn't help that websites and boards like this go

No
Bellerin is a much better defender and doesn't have the trickery to be an effective force on the wing. He gets opportunities running with pace from deep but even then his effectiveness in the final third is vastly overrated in comparison to his defensive ability. Most of his best work is simply having a reliable outlet to pass to. Him and ramsey have a great partnership because he has the space to run into

Training methods don't involve doing anything specific to cause injuries. Injuries are caused by many factors. If injuries were caused soley by training methods, then low league clubs would have shit loads of injuries due to low quality coaches compared to elsewhere.
It's a mixture of things. One simply being that some players are more injury prone than others. If t was Wengers training, then his other teams would have suffered the same kind of injury problems. They did not.
At best you could complain that it's the physio for not preventing this shit. But Wenger doesn't run the whole thing. He goes "Today we're going to do Attacking" and the attacking coaches come out and they all do attacking together, not just Wenger.
It's frustrating, but, there we go. It's not just one reason.

Sometimes teams do get outplayed at home, it's just how it goes sometimes. The only thing you can really hope for at that point is either to get jammy goals OR at least keep it even, and the lads did that. Nothing to cry nor moan about. On to the interlull.

Tbh mate, I'd love to see it while Walcott is out anyway.
What'd you think of the game lads. Best Tottenham side I've seen in the last 10 years at least. The VdV/Bale/Modric side was great but flaky. This side is more of a team. I think given that we essentially played with 10 men in the first half and had no one of note to bring on we did really well. Ozil's delivery was amazing.
The kind of result Utd would get under Fergie. The games after the break are easy and Ramsey, Theo and Ox coming back is a plus as will the rests to key players. We should enter the next break at least 3 points ahead of CIty.
>>63424937
>Arsenal dropped two points against Tottenham, City dropped three

You're probably urban middle class which is upper class for the rest of the country.
>>63423109
i thought if you missed an international you had to miss the next club game, so wont it be a stronger team week after?

I don't normally meme, but, kys. You're part of the fucking problem.
>>63428107
But Arsenal are top of the league. They're joint. Goal Difference only matters come the end. Just like points do. Arsenal could finish out of Top 4. You're just a faggot who supports has-been clubs.
Since Ozil has been given a winter break by the magnanimous Loew I suggest that once Ramsey and Theo are back we give Sanchez and Cazorla a rest too, on different weeks obviously.
Cech
Bellerin - Mert - Kos - Monreal
Coq - Ramsey
Ox - Ozil - Alexis
Giroud
Back 5
Coq - Cazorla
Ramsey - Ozil - Theo
Giroud
Should win against Sunderland and Norwich. Once Jack is back he can lift some of the weight off Santi's shoulders. Really scares me how dependent we are on him.
>tfw Tottenham are better than us
>>63449152
>giroud
walcott will be back by then desu
>>63449157
atm yes
they are better than most teams in the pl

Goa is cheap as bananas tbf. Went there during college. Rs 20 for beer and 150 for a meal in an Italian restaurant is ridiculous.
>>63449211
>walcott will be back by then desu
Alexis has had 0 shots on target since Giroud started playing. I don't remember the exact nuber tbf but it was something really low.
>>63449246
>Went there during college
nice
>Rs 20 for beer and 150 for a meal in an Italian restaurant is ridiculous
ikr. i fucking love this place
What happened to Carzola?
>David Moyes was reportedly about to be sacked as Real Sociedad boss on Sunday, but his cancelled flight from Manchester means his departure is expected to be confirmed on Monday.

Do you even watch football? Guess Arsenal put a full strength side up against Shef Wednesday
>tfw Sky didn't mention Ozils record at all after the match
ABA cunts.
>>63449316
>Do you even watch football? Guess Arsenal put a full strength side up against Shef Wednesday
other than the milk cup you autist faggot fuck. There could be a CL match, PL match, and FA cup match all within 4 days of each other and wenger will start the EXACT same lineup. The only exception to this is when he is forced to make a change due to the
inevitable
injury.
Is he, dare I say it, shit?
>>63449457
He got found out. Meme player.
>>63449323
Doesn't fit the narrative that he's a flop.
1. Leading assist boards
2. Leading chances created board
3. Has most assists of any player since joining Arsenal (33)
4. Has most assists to a single player (Giroud) (5 I think)
who would you rather have fuck off, ozil or wenger?
>>63449708
you
>>63449734
Tbhonest
>>63449708
Neither. Wenger is going to leave sooner or later, Ozil has at least 5 good years ahead of him. Wenger, I doubt, will go on another 5 years.
And even if he did, I wouldn't give a shit.
So, I say.. you. You should go. Stay go, Americanfag.
WHAT HAPPENED TO CARZOLA?
WHAT HAPPENED? SOMEBODY FILL ME IN!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!
>>63449883
