My Dad and Uncle were Raiders fans in the 60s because the AFL was still a separate league from the NFL, and Dad idolized Kenny Stabler because he was left-handed (My Uncle just likes the Raiders because he's edgy). Plus Al Davis was from Brooklyn which gave them another reason to like them.
