Is it wrong for me to support a NT that I have no association with? I've been a fan of Italy since the early stages of the 2006 World Cup. It was when I was first getting into soccer and some of my best memories from that summer were watching Pirlo and Gattusso wreck everyone's shit. 10 years later I still enjoy watching Italy play, even though the team has been a pale shadow of what it was in 2006, except for Euro 2012, which I missed because I was in basic training. When my dad told me Italy had made it to the final I was dumbstruck because literally no one had expected it, and then I felt remorseful that I had missed possibly Italy's best performance for years to come.
I'm not Italian by any means, but I'm still a fan of the NT. Does this make me a bandwagoner/traitor? Or can I support Italy with all of my greasy guinea bros?
Pic sort of related, it's Italy's Dolan Trump.
At least you're not doing it for muh heritage, bro
no one gives a shit
> it's Italy's Dolan Trump.
no he isn't, you dumb fuck
DESU m8 since your country isn't in the Euros I don't see a problem with you supporting Italy. I like them a lot too. As long as you support the US if they meet in the WC, I think you're fine.
Is he finished?

Why do professional footballers play FM? Especially straight after a game? Nothing wrong with it, I'm just curious.

How would a game turn out, if some soccer ref decided to red card at least 50% of a team on the field?
>>68568985
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZtPOtFi58g
This is the closest we ever got but there must be games with more cards
>>68568985
A team is not allowed to have but 6 players, so 5 red cards for a team equal a forfeit.
>>68568985
Can't play with fewer than 7 players
If the game got so out of hand that 5 players from one team were sent off, I think the game would be called off before it even got that far
But I'm not sure what would happen if they were sent off in a reasonably orderly manner (i.e. no brawling and other shit fest)
FIFA (the game) used to allow this to happen, and you had to forfeit the match
Why do fans whistle when enemy team has the ball and goes for the goal?
Is it just me or is such behaviour really disrespectful?
Whiste blowing is bad but make way for the most insufferable annoyance
>your dick will never be that whistle
Only scum fans do that. The only way its acceptable is to whistling at individual players who have cheated or dived against your club.
If LeBron chokes in Game 7 it will forever put him a tier below Jordan, even if he has an insane stat game.
With a win he will cement himself as a peer of Jordan in the same vein as Kobe, Duncan, and Shaq.
It wouldn't be "choking" in Game 7 if he has monster stats but his team loses
>Kobe, Duncan, and Shaq.
one of them is not like the others

Guys, it's happening.
The americans will slowly take over the football/soccer scene. Since foreigners offered more exposure and competitivity to their national league, they are becoming more and more relevant everyday. Football is gaining popularity and more youngsters are getting interested in it.
Sure, for now they only take pre retirees and reject superstars but once their league will be attractive enough they will become hard as fuck to beat and almost invincible a bit like the spaniards a few years back.
Remember when playing against the US would guarantee you an easy as fuck win over a team of literally who's who would have rather played in the nba or the nfl if they were good enough.
Look at how they played with heart and passion in the last wc and even deserved to beat the belgians. Look at how they're styling over third world south americaca teams who used to btfo of them in the past.
They're probably gonna lose against Argentina in the next game but not by a wide margin (I'd say 1-0 or 2-1) since football attractiveness in the US is still pretty recent.
But, as the days will pass, their domestic league (fueled with foreign talents, meme magic and leaders that actually care about the sport) will provide them high quality players and they will become unstoppable in, I'd say 10 to 20 years. They will become invincible like their Basketball team.
Tl;dr the Americans will btfo all of us in the next few years. Fuck they're even better than the English now.
The US will win the World Cup by 2076, but hopefully by that point I'll be dead and the world will have gone down the shitter
m8 we lost to Guatemala
Fuck off idiot. US soccer fans are cancer. They are the seahawka of the soccer scene. Soccer will never take off here and I hope you die for wishing such a thing on the most least deserving country possible. Fuck yourself
Find a flaw.

Hey guys, I love to make quizes and was interested to see how well you guys know your football, think you can name all 4?
pls no reverse image search thx.
If any of these 4 died, do they deserve a sticky?
Who the fuck are these no name losers anyways?
>>68567664
yeah that's the quiz senpai, it'd be pointless if they were all household names, but anyone with a decent level of footballing knowledge should know them all as they are/ were all successful players.
That top right guy was a Watford flop right?
This madmans father just died, he went to the funeral, but now he's back in France to play Czechia.
Press F to pay respects

Can an American please explain college football to me? Why does anyone care about a team of literally who students playing other teams of literally who students, why is it worth like $500 billion a year, and why do teams have their own stadiums with 100,000 people capacity?
>>68567501
football has been played at college level as long as it has at the pro level
college sports is a bonding activity for big university students and has been for a century+
>>68567501
School pride, plus the fact that the top college teams aren't literally whos, they're the next nfl talents, or a few are anyhow. Also, in many parts of the US, football is not comparable to a religion than a sport.
>>68567554
More comparable I mean
/sp/, I need your help. I'm a close advisor to Marcel Koller and the ÖFB - you will understand that I cannot state my name here. The continuity that worked throughout the qualification doesn't seem to do the trick now. The Teamchef has no idea which players he should send on the pitch tomorrow. Please help us out.

Return to the Reich and bring Fuchs and a forward like Janko to us.
This way you would win the cup.
Call up the entirety of your best team in the Austrian league (guessing rapid seeing as Salzburg is mostly jfs nowadays) and just field them
