The fact that elite teams like Uruguay and Brazil did not even make it out of the group stages only shows how good the quality of soccer is in America, where even the worst teams like Ecuador and Peru are still good enough to beat great teams
Compare that to Europe where there are teams like Albania and Ireland that literally have no chance at beating a great team like Italy or Spain.
