Guys, I have a serious question. Please, no jokes.
I am an Arsenal fan and I always hear about Yanks supporting Arsenal. Is that a fact or just meme?
Also, since Arsenal haven't had the same success as other English and European teams, and because, I assume, most Americans have started following football fairly recent compared to other nations; shouldn't they be like your average gloryhunter (sorry) that only support successful teams?
For example, in my country, football is more popular than in the States, but because most of us, excluding me of course, have started following football from ~2005, everyone is either a Madridista or Barca. No one even knows most English teams. So, why do Americans support Arsenal instead of ManU? Or El Classico instead of the EPL?

I actually enjoy games between shitty teams. It's so bad it's good if that makes sense. And it’s more entertaining than watching a good team beat up a shitty one.

Speaking of big, hopefully the Minehead stage has been significantly strengthened, as Snackpot meets Hendo in tonight’s third match. Assuming their combined gravitational fields don’t create a black hole that devours the entire planet, we’ll also be treated to Gando & Taylel meeting in a round one tie, a result of Gando barely giving a shit about the Pro Tour, and Phil giving even less of a shit about it. Coverage begins at 12:45GMT on ITV4, with the evening session from 19:00

Something needs to be done about the parity situation in football right now. It's not fair how only 2-3 teams are able to hoover up all the worlds elite players. If things remain as they are we won't see anyone be able to challenge Barca, Real and Bayern in the CL for a long time.
problem is, agreeing to a financial cap on wages is like nuclear disarment, either everyone agrees to it or no one does
A wage cap of 100k euros a week for any player would be completely fair but clubs would still find a way around it.
