It's covering my chin, but all I have is this and my 11 year old webcam to choose from and at least here you can see my rosacea a bit.
I find it strange how the redness abruptly stops just before it gets to the sensitive skin under the eyes.
You also can't tell in the picture without me pointing it out here, but my upper eyelids are extremely asymmetrical.

How old are you? What have you done to treat your rosacea?
I have rosacea but I never really get blushing/flareups, just perpetually blotchy face
I went to a dermatologist and he gave me some protopic cream and the only thing it did was make me get random hot flashes which I never had before
When I drank alcohol while using protopic my whole face would blush so brightly red my friends would ask me if I was alright and stuff so I stopped using it and never went back to my doctor

I'm 28. I haven't done much besides sticking to lukewarm water when cleaning my face and I've stopped using soap to wash my face instead using an oil cleanse that's gentle and keeps my face moisturized. I don't want to go to a dermatologist and pay thousands for laser treatments, use creams or rely on antibiotic pills that your body eventually gets used to anyway.
Have you tried changing your diet? I always hear about people trying to treat it with diet, so I'm first trying to cut out dairy and see if there are positive changes. I only just started and it seems to have helped the little bit of acne I get, but I need to wait longer to see if it will eventually improve the rosacea. I'll also try staying away from gluten.
In the end, I think it's different for all of us and we'll have to test things out ourselves.
If you're willing to go this far, there are apparently before and after shots of people who go vegan and there is quite a difference for some.
I constantly hear people should drink 1-2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar with "the mother" to improve your gut health as well. I didn't notice a difference when I tried for a few months, but maybe it will work out for you.

This actually made me think more on the topic of family. Do you happen to have anyone else in your family with rosacea? I'm the only one I can think of and it's never been proven to be hereditary.
It is a bother changing your life around for a condition like this. I enjoy cooking and eating, obvious, so I don't think I could get myself to be vegan even if it meant the possibility of clear skin.
I think that rosacea isn't considered enough of an issue and so it doesn't get as much research into it as it should. I see so many articles talking about it having to do with your stomach to mites on your face and that we have to go around testing everything on our own.
I almost forgot to mention to you that we're supposed to be making doubly sure we use sunblock because we have such wiener skin and sunlight can make symptoms worse as we age. It actually makes my skin smoother than any moisturizer I've tried using before, too.
The laser treatments do seem to work for a lot of people, but it might not be a permanent thing and you could need to do more sessions later on. The way you described yours makes me think you'll have really good odds! I imagine I'd get it again since I do get flare-ups and they seem to happen most often when I become embarrassed or flustered, which happens a lot. I might give it a try in the future since it's not anywhere as expensive as I had initially thought after looking at this article!

The dermatologist I went to cut away pieces of my face and had them tested, and said I had demodex mites :( I used some ointment to kill them but it didn't really change anything and later I read that there are conflicting reports about if they have anything to do with rosacea

Your grandfather's condition sounds so much like the subtype 3 rosacea with the nose, though. Now that I think about it, do you happen to have Irish ancestry? I just remembered that we seem to have a higher chance of rosacea than others. Even though I can't recall anyone in my family having it, maybe it is hereditary.
