Some Visual Novels are literature like Mahoyo, Grisaia no Kajitsu and Saya no Uta due to them have little input (Mahoyo actually has no input and is actually a kinetic novel). But most are better classed as games like Phoenix Wright, Hotel Dusk and Steins;Gate due to how much interaction they have in their games.

>>23811343

I had a Muslim girlfriend before, and it was an absolute gongshow. Her parents weren't down with me at all, not to mention all the Muslims in my city are very close, so any muslim girl I know would basically be a family friend, which is kind of weird.

the mismatch between traits is intentional, I want someone more extroverted and active than me, someone more fit than me. I want someone who will work out with me and support me while I try to improve myself, not someone who will slow me down. Big fan of anime(many types) and video games(many types), traveling, caving, the occult, love to write, sing, do photography, and read, occasional interests of camping and exploring abandoned buildings, and I spend a lot of time traveling to other countries. also I like a lot of gay stuff, so you have to be chill with that, and i'm only interested in anything sexual if it's deep into kink and bdsm territory. currently living in the midwest

How could anyone be so naive as to think that a completely free market would be a good thing anyways?

I mean that's sort of why the environment is fucked and it's not like price fixing doesn't exist or monopolies, like honestly anyone who doesn't believe in some level of regulation is either extremely naive or just straight up retarded.
>>
>>23816409
>>23816877
There are no monopolies in a completely free market.
>>23815829
It's never not time to fast
>>
>>23816887
Barriers to entry exist in a number of forms from infrastructure to monetary, natural monopolies always form.

For example: If you own all the land that has natural resource A on it and no one else can obtain resource A without going through you you have a natural resource monopoly. The only way that monopoly doesn't form is if you regulate, monopolies are just natural in some industries.

And who regulates it? People who are corrupt as fuck and will give their friends all the perks while punishing any who oppose them as we see now. This makes the system even worse because a "natural" monopoly can still be fought by finding the resources else where to produce it or to produce it at a lower cost. Where as a government monopoly is much harder to fight because it's so corrupt that it will crush those under dogs by force if necessary.

>Only the rich can afford cell phones and computers in the 70s/80s
>Rich buy them because they're useful
>This brings in the silicon age where we can buy $10 cell phones and computers for $200
>Code monkeys and tech companies are the richest people in the world

But goy, if we don't tax the rich they will keep all the moneys and everyone else will be poor. No, I don't care if being poor means I have internet access, a waste management system, central heating, air conditioning and systems to keep my food fresh and me well fed. It's so wrong that I have to live so much worse than those rich people and I demand they give me their money because I only live like a God compared to people 60 years ago. I should be living like 2 Gods because I EARNED IT by being born.

Tell me again why you feel entitled to taking other people's money? What work did you do to earn it? I think I deserve 99.95% of your money and you can't disagree on this because we've already agreed that theft is acceptable.

Let's say you own a chain of krusty krabs, and you're selling krabby patties, which are the best fucking thing anyone has ever tasted, no one but you knows the formuoli, and you own 90% of the area that has the secret ingredient or whatever.

At some point your annual revenue will approach a maximum point, at which everyone will be eating krabby patties, so you can't get new customers every year (except if you're in a sandnigger country where everyone has 10 kids). At this point your prices wouldn't be competitive if there was a competition, because why the fuck would you keep prices that can't be undercut, if there's no one to undercut them? At this point you'll also be selling the same stuff every time, because why the fuck would you change or improve your formula, if it won't give you additional market share?

And this will be the point where entrepreneurs will have both a high incentive for, and an easy time starting a local business, either by reverse engineering your formula, and using the remaining portion of the available secret ingredient producing areas, or by creating a formula better than yours. Their business will initially be very small, thanks to your dominance, but their growth will be unmatched, since they will be able to undercut you, and they will always have the maximum amount of customers they can handle. With their rapid growth, they will also be able to buy an increasing amount of secret ingredient.

In time as your profits decrease you'll probably try to buy their business, and they will either not sell it to you, or sell it at a price that's way higher than the actual value. With this you potentially enable them to fuck with you even more effectively in the future. Alternatively you could improve your shit and lower your prices, in which case there's already a competition.

This doesn't include you entering completely unrelated industries, because similarly you could just get fucked by some other business entering yours.
>>
>>23817169
>>23816899
So if you have that kind of monopoly, your incentives for innovation decrease, and you'll eventually be forced either to keep on innovating to avoid being cucked, in which case there's still a form of competition, because you're competing against phantoms, or you won't be able to sustain your dominance.

I'm implying that the resources you're relying on are less than 100% mapped and discovered, so there's a possibility of someone "striking gold". Also in reality you can't possibly own 100% of the mapped resources either.

>I'm also implying there's a fixed amount of wealth in the world, and those evil capitalist rich people are just keeping the lion's share to themselves.

The rich isn't taking wealth that's already there, the rich is creating wealth.

>but the trickle down model is a lie, and a meme

That's probably why a construction worker can afford running water, electricity, a place to live, heat, fresh food that he consumes not because he's starving, but because it tastes good, new clothes whenever he needs them, a smartphone, a playstation, a TV, an internet connection, and an onahole.

This is NOT because there's such an abundance of wealth, that putting bricks on top of each other is awarded by these benefits. The non existent abundance of wealth is also NOT because the exponential increase in efficiency across all industries, driven by people with money to invest in them, but because of the exponentially increasing muscle mass of construction workers. The average construction worker today has 2000 times the muscle mass of a construction worker 200 years ago, and THIS is why an average construction worker today has 2000 times the wealth of an average construction worker 200 years ago.

Absolutely -- for themselves.

What in the absolute hell does a construction does wealth naturally increasing over time have anything to do with trickle-down? You just posted an entire paragraph of fluff entirely unrelated to a point. Mankind has naturally progressed.

>Bernie 2016

Actually he pointed out that wealth was created by the rich, but that wealth trickles down. i.e. a builder has to build their mansions, has to build the homes of the people who work for him.

You also haven't made an argument for why they don't deserve the money they have earned.

Thirdly and most importantly you have absolutely no clue about progress. Consider progress walking to the shop. No one magically moves towards the shop, they have to use energy to move their legs. Progress is not innate, if anything it is actually the opposite in that if you do nothing you will decay and things will fall apart. As such progress only happens when someone makes it happen, that is not natural progress, that is unnatural.

It's great that you keep calling people 19 and stupid and yet you have a completely fucked up world view that doesn't hold water. I could tell you I'm in my 30s as I dismantle you but it doesn't matter because if you're 20, 30 or 100 it doesn't fucking matter because you're STILL wrong.

Obviously. No one denies that rich create jobs. I employ people. The argument on trickle down is that creating more wealth -- in the form of less taxation -- for the rich creates MORE jobs. This is demonstrably false.

>You also haven't made an argument for why they don't deserve the money they have earned.
They live in America. The wealthiest overall period we've ever seen, the rich were taxed well over 90%. When did I even say they don't deserve their money?

What, are you some flat tax idiot?

>As such progress only happens when someone makes it happen, that is not natural progress, that is unnatural.
And the rich aren't the ones making that process. They may help spur it, but the people that ultimately create the progress are those that pick up tools and do it themselves -- workers.

>It's great that you keep calling people 19 and stupid
It's actually quite literally just one person. A person that's a very generic, very predictable /pol/ack.

>because if you're 20, 30 or 100 it doesn't fucking matter because you're STILL wrong.

The rich aren't the ones who buy expensive new technology which helps fund the project until it becomes cheaper.

Okay, I believe you. I'll just be over here looking at all my technology that literally started more expensive and because the rich bought it the companies were able to refine the process and make it cheaper.

The only reason you're even able to spew your commie non-sense is because of that exact process.

Do you think money is free? All the riches money comes from working, creating wealth. That money is already paid for through previous work. If I bought a house, I don't owe you part of my house because you're also building one. I have mine, I can help you build yours if I choose but I did my hard work and I can do what I want with it. Money is a representation of work and goods in a tradeable form, someone made that money and they get to pick what they do with it not retarded commies like you.

90% tax would make the rich flee the country in a heart beat, they would have zero reason to want to be there or work. There goes all your funding for the future. You might want to look at socialist countries, one of them is literally collapsing as we speak while pushing your ideas.

It's demonstably false except it's true. No one is going to work for 10% of what they earn, they will just stop working.

You're promoting communist and denying it, which is amazing in that you deny you're left wing. You probably think you're right wing because you think men shouldn't use the women's bathroom.
>>
>>23818398
>No one is going to work for 10% of what they earn, they will just stop working.
Oh, so you're telling me everyone left America when Eisenhower was in office?

You couldn't possibly be factually incorrect, could you? The 40s and 50s couldn't have coincidentally also been a booming period, could they?

>You're promoting communist
If I've promoted anything, it's higher taxes, and I've already clarified I don't think 90% is anywhere near necessary. Literally nothing I've said is "communist" -- take your red scare either back to /pol/, or the 60s.

>You probably think you're right wing
As much as I appreciate the conjecture and projection following this, I'm a libertarian with more right leanings than left. You're free to attempt to psycho-analyze more incorrectly, though. This shit is hilarious.
>>
>>23818437
You have actually, read the thread where you claim the means of production should be owned by the workers. That is pure communism and as anti-capitalist as you can get.

Oh you're a libertarian? So you're a libertarian who promotes higher tax rates and a larger government (which is needed to spend and enforce the tax). Please do tell me more how you're a right wing libertarian. I would love to laugh at you more as you repeatedly promote communism and say you're right wing. Next you will be telling me you're left wing socially and right wing economically.
>>
>>23818453
>claim the means of production should be owned by the workers.
Oh I'd love to see where I said anything of the sort. Feel free to quote me, word for word.

I'll wait.

>So you're a libertarian who promotes higher tax rates and a larger government
Libertarians believe in as small as government is necessary. Regardless of my opinion, taxation is necessary. I'm a libertarian, not an anarchist.

>Please do tell me more how you're a right wing libertarian. I would love to laugh at you more as you repeatedly promote communism and say you're right wing.
I've never said I'm right wing, though. I said I'm a libertarian with left leanings, although I lean more right than left. Right wing would imply I heavily lean right, which I don't. I still fully believe in fiscal and personal responsibility and the idea of my rights ending where yours begin with as little government intrusion as possible.

You keep sitting here and trying to intentionally misconstrue what I'm saying. I'm sure that works with other idiots on /pol/, but it's not going to work on someone informed outside of buzzword usage and confirmation bias.

Funny, though, how you completely ignored the proof that shows your wrong about high taxation being formerly successful in the US. If you're interested in learning more about the USA's past success, I suggest a history book. They're very informative.
>>

>>23818476
>I'm a libertarian with more right leanings than left
>>23818476
I said I'm a libertarian with left leanings

So which is it fuckface? Are you right or left?

I would suggest a history book for you as well when you look at the facts. The rich did not pay 90% tax, they all used loop holes to avoid it and pay roughly the same tax then as they do now. Oh shit, it looks like you're again full of bunk.

Should I also point out I'm a regular on a popular libertarian podcast and know you're wrong about small government? Most libtards want no government. A small government is a minarchist but you probably wouldn't know that since you think 90% tax rate is libertarian. But hey what do I know when I discuss this stuff weekly on multiple podcasts B)
>>
>>23818486

Hey, whoops. It seems you clicked on the wrong board. This one is full of non-hivemind non-conformists and degenerates. You were looking for >>>/pol/, where falsehoods are facts and facts are something to laugh at.

>>23818491
That's weird. You seem to have misplaced those two quotes I asked you for. Maybe you misplaced them?
>So which is it fuckface? Are you right or left?
Are you aware you just quoted two statements saying the same thing? I'm right and left leaning on different issues, a la taxes left and right on gun control. You are aware one person isn't limited to leaning only one way on every issue?

>The rich did not pay 90% tax, they all used loop holes to avoid it and pay roughly the same tax then as they do now
Oh sure, that's why the 40s were a booming period, just like no-

I mean, come on. If you're going to counteract my easily proven claim with some counter claim, I expect some form of source that's not your ass.

>Should I also point out I'm a regular on a popular libertarian podcast and know you're wrong about small government?
And literally no one gives a fuck. You're trying to boasten yourself in an attempt for credibility instead of actually reinforcing anything in your argument. I appreciate the narcissism, but it doesn't work.

>ince you think 90% tax rate is libertarian
Whoosh. Again, you've intentionally ignored what I typed out for you. I didn't say 90% taxation is libertarian. Quote me. Go on.

Your entire argument has now boiled down to saying I've said things I haven't, and when I prove you wrong or ask for a quote of these scary big communist things I've clearly said, you run with your tail between your legs and shift the goalposts to provide me nothing.

As much as it amuses me to stress your limited intelligence enough that you're resorting to textbook /pol/, my attention span is pretty short. Feel free to tell me how I said something communist, but I can't guarantee I'll read it. Don't let it hurt your feelings.
>>

I quoted you saying the exact things you said and you deny it. You say "I am X and I am Y" then deny you're Y.

You promote ideas then deny you hold them, you move the goal posts and run away when someone points it out. I can quickly google any shit you say and find countless examples to contradict you and yet you think you're right.

It's okay to admit you're a communist and not a libertarian. I know the libtard movement is full of commies now who just want to smoke weed and watch niggers run train on their girlfriends. It would just be easier if you were honest and didn't constantly contradict yourself.
>>

Except you didn't.

You said I said workers should own production, that I support 90% taxation, etc.
You still haven't quoted where I've remotely implied any of that. I'm a patient man.

You keep trying to make up some contradictory stance on my part, when I've continually said I'm a libertarian with both left and right leanings, although more right than left. I'd appreciate it if you'd refute my points instead of trying to connect dots that don't exist, but.. ah well, you're too far gone and a dozen posts too late for that.
>something something communist
>something something niggers
>something something libtards

you just might find
that you're out of
time
to swim

long enough
i'll be home
