It depends why you will be here. Hiking's good on non holidays, Lagoon is a decent enough amusement park (I've never been to another one before), music concerts are enjoyable (I prefer classical at the Aravanel Hall), and there's a good selection of restaurants.
Now for some bad things; there are too many restaurants, traffic can be infuriating along with constant construction to the roads, an public transportation isn't the best.
