DRINKING THREAD
Now Drinking: (even more) Founders' Mosaic Promise
Had an awesome day today. Met up with a ton of people at a local brewery and then drank a lot of amazing beers & bourbons (including 10, 12, & 15 yr. Pappy Van Winkle). Would post the group photo, but I don't want to out anyone or anything like that.
Now Drinking: Black Acre's Ghost Bees (a 12% Braggot aged in Apple Brandy barrels)
This shit is delicious and I was surprised I was able to convince them to fill a howler of it. Mmmmmm......tasty.

Looks very good
>>23624709
Not sure which one you're referring to, but both are quite nice. The Ghost Bees is exceptionally amazing!
Now Drinking: MOOORE Ghost Bees
Might try to finish off this howler tonight, but I don't want to chug something that's 12%. hahaha
Drinking box wine.
Getting late but don't have work tomorrow, who here /drinkmore/?
>>23625166
I'm gonna try to drink this whole howler tonight, so I'm right there with you. Although, I have to work at 4pm tomorrow. Late enough for me!
>>23625183

>>23624508

>>23625190
I'll try. hahaha I'm from Indiana. You?
>>23625198
Man, last handful of times I had that, it was like lemon pledge.
>>23625225
haha not too far off. i always love a good shandy tho. have u ever tried something called illusive traveler? shit's great.
>>23625235
That I have and it's pretty much that same kind of thing.
If you want something similar that's tasty, try looking for Schofferhofer or Stiegl Radler.
>>23625250
those look delicious. ill keep an eye out!
>>23625225
I'm from LA, Commiefornia. Redpill me on beer, I feel like every single craft beer type tastes exactly the same as any other brewery .
>>23625299
Depends on what part you are in CA. There's so much excellent beer in CA that like....dude. I'm too jealous.
>>23625368
I'm from so cal....
wasted as fuck already off rum and beer, now drinking some Venetian Moon Pinot Grigio on ice. it's basically a generic white wine; nice, but not as good as the Viognier of the same brand
Drinking that "Pernicious Weed" from Garage Project, an NZ brand. Any NZbros here who enjoyed the same brand who could recommend anything similar off the same brand?
Emergency bump. Will post my beer soon.
>>23627975
Sam Adams Scotch Ale
It's pretty good. Bought it 'cos it was on sale.
Bump
drinking Jameson alone, go me. What a monday
>>23628470
I almost always drink alone. I've grown to prefer it. Who the fuck wants to deal with MORE people after work anyway?
Now drinking North Bank cabernet sauvignon because it was BOGOF at my store.
im out of booze...
>>23625424
Can't say off the top of my head what's in SoCal, but I know there's good stuff all around ya.
>>23628039
Haven't seen that around here before.
>>23628800
BOGOF?
Now Drinking: Founders' Breakfast Stout
>>23628836

Banquet and gin.
>>23629671
Sounds like a fun night.
>>23628836
You're also outside the legal drinking age.
>>23629760
It passes the time before another 12 hour shift tomorrow! i haven't had a day off in about a month, and wont till end of july. Drinking alone is my passtime!
>>23629793
Fuck dude, 12 hour shifts? That's pretty brutal. Do you have to do that kind of shift every day till July?
>>23629810
pretty much. thats even a short day by my industries standards. a few weeks ago i had to travel to san diego, started at 11 am, finished at 7, then drove the 9 hours home that day, got home at 4 am the next morning. Most recent longest shift was back in november, it was around a 39 hour (almost straight) shift.
Now Drinking: Daredevil's Rip Cord
This is a damn solid Imp. IPA.

>>23629835
Holy shit! What kind of job do you have ?!
>>23629852
the popular response? show biz haha.
I'm whats called a stage hand. I install anything from trade shows to concerts to movie sets. just started a new job through a new company and they've been working me non stop. I dont mind it, 37.50 an hour straight, plus time and a half and double time on weekends, also drive time and per diem (usually 50 a day). the first few rules i was taught,
1:) never say no
1:) the Show MUST go on.
>>23629845
Talked to you the other day. I'm the one in San Diego with many craft breweries
>>23629874
My word....that is some SERIOUS money, dude. I'm sure the work is hard, but with that kind of money, it'd be more than worth it!
>>23629913
From earlier in this thread or a now defunct drinking thread?
Now Drinking: Country Boy's Shotgun Wedding (Brown Ale w/ vanilla beans)
For being only 4.7%, it's aight. Might've been better if its was a bit beefed up, but oh well.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktdCjOD719w
Now Drinking: Goose Island's Bourbon County 2011
Of all the vintages I've had, this is by far the best right now. Such a thick, velvety fudge with a side of vanilla, oak and a faint amount of coffee. Wish I had more of this year!
>>23629442
I got the Sam Adams scotch ale in the cabin pack 12-pack. I've never seen it standalone. It's pretty solid surprisingly. Smokey with a bit of spice. I'd give it a solid 6/10.
And BOGOF is "buy one get one free"
>>>>>THIS IS MY FETISH!!!!@@@@@@
But yea I like to drink cheap Mexican beer. I'm a Mexican living in south L.A. hbu????
Now: Cuvee Jeun Homme from De Leite.
A real pleaser for you sour fans. Nicely balanced by brett.
I've got some Flor de Cana today, gonna get a beer from my fridge soon
>>23632574
Ahhh, ok. That would make sense then.
>>23633216
Sounds like fun.
>>23633241
Never heard of this before. I'm guessing you're in Europe?
