I think the "no makeup" mental image you have are actually girls with minimal makeup. Some (guilty) try for the natural look, but it doesn't mean there's zero help involved.

ehhhhh. in every serious relationship i've had, the girl has ended up wearing 0 make up around me.
It's something I've preferred too. Not necessarily for the look. I like it more for the fact that they felt comfortable enough to be that way around me after a while. so it's like a vanilla intimacy kind of thing that I like about it.
The thing is if someone finds you cute, and as long as you don't look like a different person with makeup on, you'll still look really cute to them without it.

I wore a lot of makeup in highshool (imagine snookie). I was essentially a never nominated Miss America. I grew out of that and I do understand the intimacy and clarity that comes with being honest about how you look. But I don't think it's fair to say no makeup is better than makeup without exception.An SO may not care if your eyebrows are on point, but he's the the only person in the audience so to speak.
