If you meant how I conduct myself in law studies, then hell yeah. I did a year and a half of criminology before this, barely ever studied and still did pretty well. At the time I just told myself that slacking off and being a manchild was just "part of the university experience" but now I know that university is just one of those things you seriously cannot fucking cut corners on.
Especially law, since it's borderline impossible to get a job after uni even with good grades, so every bit of extra work you can do, you do, just to secure a temp position or something like that. In general, the story I've heard is that legal careers are a motherfucker to get into and the simplest and safest option is to just be as good as possible.

I think you need a public space if you're planning on meeting a handful of people at the one time. The old Perth meets, as far as I know, were held at homes and became a little bit secluded (Perth folks feel free to clarify if I'm wrong). That works if you've met previously. Top tip for finding work in retail, if there are any shopping centres near you doing big remodeling projects try and find out what stores they will be adding, then send applications to those stores online/however you can because they will be looking to hire new staff. When new stores open they usually borrow experienced staffers from other nearby stores to begin with but in the short term they will be looking to employ a whole new staff.

You should at least apply to woolies. They're looking for people 90% of the time. Apply online through their dedicated system, but definitely apply in stores as well. Local area managers don't really use the online system unless there's a new store opening, so they're happy to take your shit in person, and if they aren't the worst you'll get told is to go apply online.
