I have a minor case of schizophrenia...and it's not where you're two people not in my experience anyway...to a degree.

The shadow figure thing actually runs in one side my family a lot- Usually foxes. There's some bullshit lore about us being cursed.
For me it's usually just reality getting warped- People looking very deformed, walls moving, etc.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a striped wall that I can recall, but that is an issue I have with other patterned things (afaik it's unrelated to other issues though). I was referring to things that are usually solid colors and without texture- it's more similar to the visuals people describe from certain psychedelics.
