Can we harvest dark matter ? How do you get close and capture something that repels gravity ?

Also what are the possible applications of dark matter relating to space-time and dimensions ?
>>
>>8206583
dark matter absorbs light
so it means,
the potential energy wich is it absorbed in it,it is the same as it could emits in form of heat
>>
>>8206583
to get close to dark matter you need to travel at light speed in the deep space
so you will become light and get absorbed by it and die
>>
>>8206583
Use a pokeball.
>>
By making a M.E.M.E. machine obviously
>>
It's probably just a bunch of photons that have lost their whizz..

Dark matter is the place where the most different nutrients of the universe are carried around in harmony.

Anyone ?
>>
>>8206980
Nothing interesting as far as anyone knows
>>
>>8206980
Dark matter is real but it only interacts with gravity. Since we can't control gravity artificially we have no means with which to manipulate it. Even if we could it would require such extremes of energy that would make it of little practical use.
>>
>>8206583
Wasn't the dark energy the thing that repels gravity?
And wasn't the dark matter the one that keeps the galaxies shit together?
>>
>>8207005
If it didn't require lots of energy, you could possibly use it for gravity detectors or sensors
>>
>>8207037
dark matter is actually the thing that causes the universe expansion to accelerate, eventually pushing everything apart from each other faster and faster.
>>
>>8207057
History channel lied to me.

One can make a perpetual motor.
If it repels gravity just put it on one end of massive spaceship. Profit.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerating_expansion_of_the_universe

The expansion of the universe has been accelerating since the universe entered its dark-energy-dominated era, at redshift z≈0.4 (roughly 5 billion years ago).[3] [notes 1] Within the framework of general relativity, an accelerating expansion can be accounted for by a positive value of the cosmological constant Λ, equivalent to the presence of a positive vacuum energy, dubbed "dark energy". While there are alternative possible explanations, the description assuming dark energy (positive Λ) is used in the current standard model of cosmology, known as ΛCDM ("Lambda cold dark matter").

It will eventually fuck up the ship, unless the ship is made of something inmune to the expansion.

So dark matter keeps our shit together.

And cold dark matter is separating everything.

Yes. it will eventually lead to death by entropy

But it doesn't interact with anything but gravity so you can't use it except to detect gravity and we can do that with light more easily so why the fuck would we?

Dark Energy is more interesting if it's an applicable phenomenon since it makes space expand.

Dark matter is passing through you right now. Unless its relative velocity is less than 11.2 km/s it will pass through the Earth as well and continue on through space. The galaxy's gravity accelerates dark matter which in turn pulls on the galaxy causing it to spin at speeds that can only be explained by the presence of dark matter. Dark matter is whipping around the galaxy at speeds far in excess of the escape velocities of almost any massive bodies except perhaps black holes. It's like the charged particles trapped in Jupiter's radiation belts. It would burn us all to death if it weren't for the fact it doesn't react with any of the other forces.

Looks like a bin bag to me, the 'beginning' is just where all the seperate folds join.
