How come when I'm upside down, my vision is upside down, but not my other senses?
{ your vision is not upside down , all your senses are upside down }

Is your vision upside down in zero gravity?
They are. You sense of balance would say you were upside down because gravity would be pulling on your inner ear and your flesh the wrong way.
As for hearing, if you were weightless and blind, the phase difference in your ears would always tell you the direction regardless, but if you had an alarm clock on a shelf and a cat meowing on the floor, the cat would seem to be on the shelf, and the alarm on the floor.
Our senses work together to make a picture in our heads, but for adults, the picture comes first, and the senses just update it. Being upside down doesn't take away your ability to orient that picture with your senses.

as an example, why do chicken nuggets smell the same upside down as right-side up?

Also why don't I taste things upside down?

I tried googling it there was no answer. Just studies about some guy getting inverted vision corrected.

Smell is non-directional. Taste IS inverted. If you had a hotdog with mustard on the top it would now
touch your taste buds first.
