>>
How does this have anything remotely close to science?
>>
No, but I think about it pretty often.
>>
Anyone know of a good suicide kit?
>>

Just stop breathing and stuff, keeping yourself alive to the end of the day is vastly more complicated than just cutting off your oxygen supply for a couple of minutes.

How?
>>
>>8185609
Breathing consists of inhaling and exhaling, so either don't inhale next or don't exhale depending on what step you are in the process.

If you are still alive, congratulations that feat was much harder than if you just held your breath for the next five minutes or cheated and went underwater, put a bag over your head, or something similarly simple.

How is it possible to fail to kill yourself?
>>
>>8186907
the same thing that drove the urge to kill yourself in the first place

low iq
>>
>>8186911
Understanding how terrible and hopeless the human condition is drives many high iq professionals to suicide: scientists, lawyers, bankers, and doctors all have greater rates of suicide than the general population.
>>
>>8186931
Higher IQ appears protective against suicide

which is consistent with it protecting against mental illness and brain disorders in general
