How come you can almost find nothing about the chemical structure of Zyklon B on the internet?
There's basically no scientific literature on it.
The thing which apparently killed "6 million" has no good proof of being a usable WMD.

>Solid that reacts with water to produce Hydrogen cyanide
Figure it out yourself, why are you on a science/ math board if you're too lazy to solve a scientific reasoning problem?

Isn't Zyklon B just HCN?
>>8164297
It was a solid pellet that produced HCN upon reacting with H2O.

Because we have enough edgelord children killing themselves with kitchen bombs. Being educated enough to figure it out on your own is a decent barrier to entry.
Zyklon B is a Iron surrounded by an octet of cyanide groops. i believe if my information is true
Zyklon b is a cyanide based Toxin that stops the electron transport chain from functioning it binds with the O+ ions.

From wiki "It consisted of hydrogen cyanide (prussic acid), a cautionary eye irritant, and one of several adsorbents such as diatomaceous earth"
Is it confirmed to be a usable WMD tho.?

I was under the impression that ferricyanide wasn't particularly reactive or dangerous - as in mere contact with water will not produce HCN.
Also, according to this MSDS the LD50 for potassium ferricyanide is pretty high.
>Acute oral toxicity (LD50): 2970 mg/kg [Mouse]

Surely Zyklon B is something more...

Its a pesticide, its not significantly deadlier than other pesiticides. Its only dangerous if you are trapped in a confined space with it

Its just HCN and water soaked into sawdust cakes, plus a bit of irritant and adsorbent t ohold it together. It works by simply evaporating out of the cake

It wasn't very poisonous to big old humans as much as bugs, and since most doors were not pressurized seal solid metal doors, the gas would disperse through any space, or if there was water, it'd get absorbed by the water and drained away. While it's not good for you, most healthy people can survive being in a room with a zyklon-b activated tablet if they remain standing.

Cyanide binds with the iron ions in haemoglobin preferentially to oxygen, meaning your blood cant carry oxygen and you essentially asphyxiate

Pretty much. It was used mostly for delousing, you fill up a sealed chamber with clothes to be deloused, drop in the appropriate amount of cakes and wait an hour or so, then you vent the chamber. It pays to remember this stuff isnt brutally lethal like some of the chemical agents used in ww1, taking a breath in a gas chamber wouldnt kill you and it doesnt harm you unless inhaled
>pesticide is a WMD
No it is not, General Powell.
Anthrax is a WMD.
Where did the anthrax come from, General?
> It consisted of hydrogen cyanide (prussic acid), a cautionary eye irritant, and one of several adsorbents such as diatomaceous earth.
The chemical structure doesn't seem important, the only thing that we don't know is the eye irritant but that's optional and, probably, they all worked the same with no real impact on the HCN production.
Its chemical structure is a swastika

Correct, the factual evidence speaks for itself. All other "theories" have loopholes and/or missing incentives. http://www.veteranstoday.com/2015/05/01/911-and-zion-what-was-israels-role/
