Ask someone who was diagnosed with huntington's disease anything.
>>
how long are you left to live ?
>>
Sorry, anon. You gonna see it through, or become an hero?
>>
Also, what's your handwriting look like?
>>
>>8146871
prob few years, I lost all sense of logic, taste, smell and am losing sense of motion

>>8146873
I don't know. I'm 90% dead already since I can't do anything. I wake up and just open and close tabs with forums, not because I want to read them but because my neurons want to connect with each other but they cant.
>>
>>8146881
How do you know you lost all sense of logic if you lost all sense of logic
>>
What's your ancestry?
>>
>>8146884
Because if i try to code, calculate something or read something all I am aware is something like a sponge/foam feel inside my brain

Also touch sense is almost completely dead, if I for example want to turn the lights on, if touch the switch like 3-5 times before my consciousness become aware I'm touching the light switch. I record myself most of the time to see how it looks from the outside world.
>>
What did you do for a living?
>>
>>8146896
I'm 21, never worked in my life, but I sold my own software and got paid to crack stuff.
>>
>>8146892
How old are you? Are there other people in your family diagnosed/do you have children?
>>
>>8146910
21, one person on my mother's side of family had epilepsy/huntington's
>>
Also to add, when I look at a picture i'm unable to see shadows/reflections/illumination blend in with objects, i can either see one layer that has effects or second layer that contains objects
>>
>>8146916
do you play games? if so, how is that different now compared to before?

Had any dreams or ambitions?

I can't imagine how horrible it is to die so young. Is it really this horrible? Express yourself
>>
>>8146929
I play LoL, since its a 2.5d I can't even see world projection properly, I'm not aware of the environment, my character or sense of game time, all I'm aware is when I have to dodge a spell, move, etc. I'm not aware how I got there, or the beautiful graphics. It feels like playing ping pong and you only see X,Y cords and score.

>>8146936
Yeah, I always wanted to make something great, when I was a kid electrical engineering/physics was the most interesting thing ever, I always wanted to make a compiler or some great software/AI. Sucks that whenever I decide to code all I'm feeling is foam on the left side of my brain
>>
How do you want to be honored, after you die? A toast with your favorite booze? A hotel room orgy with hookers and blow?
>>
>>8146952
>I'm 21, never worked in my life, but I sold my own software and got paid to crack stuff.

what software did you sold? what was that about?
>>
What do you think will happen when your brain shuts down?
>>
>>8146870
Why are you shitposting on /sci/ when there's a >>>/b/ and >>>/fit/ ?
>>
>>8146956
It was just a bot for WoW that grinded stuff

>>8146961
I will probably have a talk with makers of our simulation and then I get a reroll without disease?
>>
>>8146952
You said "ask anything", so I apologize if this is blunt. How did the disease affect your libido and sexual life?
>>
>>8146966
Yeah, the simulation theory is very convincing
>>
>>8146967
I can watch porn for 10 hours straight without feeling anything, but I get an erection, I'm just not aware of it.
>>
Do you think a lot? What do you think about life, the universe and everything?
>>
Can you enjoy music or art or anything?
>>
Have you consider taking a bunch of psychedelics to just see what happens?
>>
>>8146870
How do you cope with people making fun of your tragic terminal illness ?
>>
>huntington's disease

I would presume that being treated like shit pales in comparison having a terminal illness take away your dreams.

Most people will run away from you, and you will find, in time, that you have the capacity to understand the fear they have of their own mortality, purpose in life, and their individual failings towards you.
>>
>>8147736
Not being treated like shit.

I mean like how the life gave you the middle finger and there are people who find it funny. Do you instinctively draw yourself closer to the people with compassion and pity for you ? Do you join terminal disease support groups ? Or does it not make much difference ?

If I take ~ 400ug of LSD I get my logic and senses back for like a day, but if I do anything that requires logical thinking like coding that day then I go back to being braindead pretty fast.

DMT is meme'd shit that just stretches time.

Haven't tried anything else. Will prob nuke myself with 1g of LSD soon to fix this disease tho
>>
>>8147637

Is someone making fun of him?
>>
>>8147724
Dude, if OP is anything like my cancerous girlfriend, the last thing he wants is some bullshit miracle therapy story from a bullshit news site thrust in his face like "BUT DID YOU TRY THIS THO".
Hard enough accepting the reality of the situation without having to deal with others who can't.
Terminal illness etiquette 101.

Don't worry bro, death isn't the end.
Even if you don't believe in the afterlife and that shit.
