If time stands still at the speed of light, why does light take time to travel from point A to point B?

general relativity doesn't affect photons

Are you in the same reference frame as the photon?

Protip: It doesn't.

there is no frame of reference that travels at the speed of light.

It doesn't in the photons' perspective.
Look up how muons reach long distances

Op, the real question is how did light travel at all. Without a medium, it makes light almost entirely theoretical to study meaning we barely have a grasp on all its properties.

The x0 dimension of spacetime manifolds are not the same as proper time.

See, the thing is, pop science interpretations of physics are basically just simple metaphors that people who understand the subject have created to everyone else get a sense of what the math is saying.

Listening to one of them and going, "oh wait, but doesn't that mean..." is pointless because all you're doing is finding semantic or logical flaws in the construction of the metaphor. You're still light years away from saying anything meaningful about the physics.
