assuming that one could get a space shuttle sized object to warp speeds could it be used as a weapon to completely fuck up an entire star?

or would the warp field do other shit with the solid matter?
>>
assuming that 1 = 2, then would it be possible that mathematics is all wrong?

it's called a kinetic weapon.

It's one of the arguments for trying to hide from aliens instead of telling them we're here. If they can travel using very high speeds, they can obliterate us relatively easily.
>>
>>8113487
so we scared that they might fuck up their approach or just the usual "AYYLEUMS!!!" sensationalism?
>>
>>8113496
no, we scared they might throw a pebble at us traveling at close the speed of light.

If they have the means to travel at relativistic speeds, they have the means to accelerate a projectile at those speeds and send it towards us to vaporize us.

on in just a like fuck life on this planet we're just here for the resources kinda way?
>>
>>8113548
it could be that, it could be them imagining the same problem the other way around (preventive strike), it could be for fun (like a safari), it could be anything!
>>

Space faring race capable of producing that sort of energy (assuming things work like we think they do) isn't likely to have a lack of resources.

They maybe forward thinking enough to nip any potential problem arising from us becoming a space faring race in the bud though... By sending over said 0.9c pebble.

I know there's a "humans fuck yeah" copypasta that goes along those lines. Aliens see humans, get scared, send said relativistic pebble. Humans evolve into something wonderful before bomb gets there. Aliens see this, start going suicidal. Bomb hits, Earth destroyed. Message received from remanence of solar system, "We know where you are, and we're coming for you."... Something along those lines.

I remember that one, it was kinda cool.
