Is it possible to accelerate without a force?
Pic unrelated
Yes it is, let me give you an example. When I see one of the things in your picture I usually find myself accelerating away from it at high speed without any physical force acting on me.

I'm pretty sure there is some force acting there

lmao

a=F/m
so if F=0, the only way to accelerate (mathematically speaking) is if your m=0, too. Though there is no way of telling how you would actually accelerate.

gravity
inb4 'hurr durr gravity is a force'

gravity is a field. weight is a force
Fuck this place

>gravity is a field
this make sense, i've fallen while playing football before now
i always seem to go down, towards the grass

well, no mass -> photons -> speed of light
>>8069182
No acceleration though, as far as Im aware. Im afraid that theformula does after all only apply to massive objects...

Well, it is. Matter attracts matter right? Keyword : attracts

No. You would not feel OK.
Light doesn't accelerate, you tards.

It accelerates when it enters and leaves a medium.
