I think I've finally outsmarted, /sci/.

The only thing that matters is the volume moved, so the force is the same in each bottle. 2', 5' and 10'? What freakin system is that?

>non-metric units

It's worse anon it uses BOTH metric and non metric

Forces is less as it gets deeper because air is compressible. That is if bottle is open at bottom

9.81N everywhere? seems like an easy task.

It's not hard. I had /sci/ fighting over a GCSE maths question a few months ago. Only 2 people out of 200+ got the right answer.

Force is less as it gets deeper cause upthrust raises.

Incorrect.

Bottle is obviously closed. If it is made of plastic, like a 2L soda bottle it will compress the bottle sides. This makes the volume of the bottle less decreasing its buoyancy.
>>
>>8061673
It says 2L air in each case. Air is compressable, so to make 2L at 10' would take more air than at 5' or 2' since it would be at a higher pressure, unless it's in a rigid sealed container.
>>
>>8062013
volume is fixed. if the air is compressed under pressure, then there must be more air in the deeper bottles (higher density).
>>
>>8061555
not enough information. Are the bottles rigid? Are they sealed? Is 2L the volume when the bottle was on the surface or when it's below the surface? At what atmospheric pressure were file bottles filled? Is that fresh or salt water or some other fluid? What is the mass of the bottle? Are the A, B and C measurements taken at rest or while the aparatus is falling? ...
