download a calc textbook and get a headstart or preview some material. I'd recommend Spivak if you're hardcore enough but its unnecessary. don't cram for tests. Math is skill-based and you're gonna get fucked if you try and force it without practice.

Get a book that concisely covers everything pre-calculus (I used Dr. Chung's Math Level 2), and move through each concept one at a time. Do tons of practice problems from the internet for each one until you've got it down cold. You don't need to sit around studying theory. You need to practice that shit until you understand it instinctively.

It should only take you a month or two if you apply yourself. Source: C in algebra 2, A+ in Calc AB and BC.
