posting it over and over again on /sci/ probably won't help

Mechanical brain augmentations.
Then again, people like this can also get those augmentations, rendering the point m00t.

not that he isn't a smart man, but the reason most superhuman feats appear the way they do is because people exaggerate or distort them to be impressive
>>
>>8017886
36 hours in a row is useless even if he did it. I wish the no sleep meme would die already
>>

This. Fake it till you make it.

But it's probably East-North Alabama State Community College. I don't understand why people on sci don't realize that people at good colleges have tougher courses.

>inb4 Harvard is shit for math

Kann die KT1 und KT2 empfehlen

Warum Wirtschaft und Physik?
Hast du vor /sci zu verraten und
deine Seele an die Commerzbank zu verkaufen?
>>
>>8018673
Joa so kams dazu.
Was sind kt1 und kt2? Hab das noch nie gehört?

How did he drop out then?

Tap into the same obsessive addiction that people who play MMOs have. The problem is most people just aren't actually that interested in anything they're learning. If you zero in on books like you read 4chan threads, and maintain focus into the early morning hours like you do when you're on a dungeon raid, you can learn a hell of a lot. Unfortunately, most people don't get an adrenaline rush like that from studying.
>>
>>8017913
This, everything is exaggerated but you can still get better.

>>8018929
This in a way. I wish I had the same amount of focus when it came to school as I do for 4chan.

1. Acquire time machine.
2. Calibrate it to ~1973.
3. Use it.
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

Except that already happened, so it's less of a ?
>>
>>8018940
Start shitposting in class. You'll instantly suffer as much focus in class as you do on 4chan.
>>
>>8017886

One thing all these over achieving nut-jobs have in common is they're all obsessed, and they're all passionate.

It's a bit harder these days since there is now so many entertainment products (and ofcourse the internet) to distract ourselves with.

But the main difference between you and the over achievers is they spend more time on their work than you do and less time doubting themselves or their ideas

>economics 101 taught at a state uni is different than an ivy league

ivy leagues or top universities only matter in graduate school
>>
>>8018940
Try cutting yourself off from all of your entertainment habits. Leave 4chan, stop browsing the internet, stop watching TV, stop gaming. Ween your brain off of those easy, hyper-stimulating activity. A book used to be hyper-stimulating to people relative to everything else because that didn't have alternatives. When you stop craving the low-information immediate gratification of 4chan threads and blogs, you'll have more mental bandwidth and excitement from reading a book.

I agree 100% and I've thought about that but I have no will power. I've always imagined myself going through with this and becoming much more focused then everyone else around me. You know what? I'll do it!. But not now, later though. (I'm serious I won't procrastinate!)

>>8019113
>ivy leagues or top universities only matter in graduate school

I went frorm a CC to an Ivy league. I can tell you 100% that your statement in bullshit. The work here for the same classes is much harder but more rewarding. Stop this meme pls
>>
>>8017886
It's not like he became a genius over night. He worked hard.

Though to be fair this sounds like an exaggeration. Maybe one time he did study for 36 hours straight or did something like that. If he really did it all the time he'd be a fucking super human.
>>
Good genes like being autistic with a good working memory, and go to good schools before uni. Nigger's parents were smart and loaded.

Bump

Is there anyone here who considers themselves a hard worker? I don't mean autistic sacrifice sleep tier, I mean like 10 hours a day. Any tips?

4.8mg x 2/day Piracetam + Citicoline
20 minutes of mindfulness meditation a day
Wake up at the same time every morning
Never sleep in, ever
Daily strength training, 20 minutes is enough (see: Starting Strength)
Drink at least 2 liters of water a day
No alcohol
No tobacco
No caffeine beyond a cup of tea
