After reading the Stern Report I do not understand how people could not want to reverse the effects of climate change.

because we can't, since it's a natural effect.
Literally who is against environmentalism and renewable energy research though?
>>8004242
corporations that rape the environment and profit
>>8004242
mainly naive middle and upper class normies who promote socialism.

/pol/ never ceases to amaze. Every time I think they have reached the ceiling of stupidity, they just raise the bar even further. Congrats

What's so wrong with doing stuff that we know works? We don't use asbestos anymore and catalytic converters have helped a great deal.
Obviously we can no longer have an Eden approach but what's so long with trying to do stuff in a way that doesn't harm the environment?
>>8004276
>harm the environment
>implying the environment has feelings
This concept of "harming" is entirely a human concern. The environment doesn't give a shit whether you harm it or not. But ofcourse this would trigger a lot of SJWs, so theres that.
>>8004184
What's your personal course of action?
>>8004295
>This concept of "harming" is entirely a human concern.
You are a human aren't you? I know you're too delusional to acknowledge this but humans depend a great deal on the environment staying the way it is.

ahahahahahaha

The environment will change even long after we're all dead, kid. Stop trying to think humans are special and that the environment is something we have 100% control of.

Pipe^(dream-1).

This doesn't respond to the point, retard. If we are causing the environment to change in a way that would be detrimental to us, it would be beneficial to stop that change.
>Stop trying to think humans are special and that the environment is something we have 100% control of.
Nice strawman.

The ground would be barren way before any cracks started appearing

Come on man. You know better. Why even post something silly like that?

climate change is a meme and they don't have anything other than CGI shit
