Time is just a social construct.

Time is shaped like a capital [math]G[/math] in times new roman.

Time began at the top, but then traveled downward very quickly. This was what we call the Big Bang. Then, time came back up, slowly and with a curve to the left. It gradually peaked and began to curve back down, widening as the universe cooled and stars and planets formed.

Time is currently somewhere on the downward path, and scientists don't know exactly where. One day, time will start contracting itself and moving back towards the right. Eventually it will reach the bottom and shoot back up; astrophysicists describe this predicted event as the "Big Crunch".

However, unlike the Big Bang, time will not go back to a singularity, but will flatten out a bit. This is because all the black holes that formed will be pulling on each other and, due to friction, will make a lot of heat. As time approaches a singularity, the heat will build up pressure until it pops, creating the final state of time. We call this process the "Heat Death" of the universe.
