Why no metric time?
Is it possible?
>>7977579
You could, but time is already conveniently mapped to natural phenomena that everyone uses, so why bother?
>>7977579
milliseconds
Seconds are the SI unit for time. Minutes and hours are not.
>>7977579
base 60 is comfy desu
no thanks
France tried having a decimal time and calender during their revolution and it didn't work out.
>>7977673
More like base 6.10.
>>7977579
We already use the metric prefixes for everything smaller than a second. millisecond , microsecond, etc. You could write an hour as 3.6 kiloseconds and people would know what you mean.
>>7977673
This. It's a Babylonian system
>>7977781
>people would know
very few, try 8.64e4 s
>>7977809
Squaring 60 is easy, multiplying numbers that are distinct from each other generally is not.
>>7977579
They actually tried it after the French Revolution, it didn't stick.
You already have timic meter.

One day. Does nobody else pre-generate patterns for future interaction?
>>7977857
Why are most of your posts so incoherent? Are you in a mental institution?

>8.64e4 s
One day.
