A philosopher who argued that Time is indivisible in its ontological nature. He was against Einstein and the Logical Positivists such as the Vienna Circle.
Bergson said Time is often understood as if it is Space, but it is completely different. This gave him a way to posit Intuition as a philosophical tool and to understand such things as Memory and Life through the lens of Time. Unfortunately he is almost completely forgotten and misunderstood. Though recently thanks to people like Gilles Deleuze and others there has been a renewed interest in his work.
Personally I think he understood Time and Memory better than any other human in history.
