Hello, I have a question. I decided to come here because /wsr/ seems like they fuck around too much. so my work place has been screwing me out of money by not paying me. I calculated how many hours of work they owe me. The only problem is their paycheck system converts minutes into decimal percentages. For example: 18 hours and 30 min would look like 18.50 on my paystub. With that being said, I worked 18:35. What would 35 minutes be out of .100 if .100= 1 hour?

That's not how it works, dumbass. You just described 18.50 being 18 hours and 30 minutes so clearly 1.00 = 1 hour
And fuck off with your kindergarten math.
I am a dumbass, which is why I came here for help with my simple problem. Wouldn't 18:35 equal to something around 18.58?

50/30
then
take that answer and multiply it by 35
so you get 18.583repeating

Thank you so much. Any chance you can explain how you got the numbers "50/30" ?

18h30m = $18.50
the only change was converting the 2 end points because they have different values, since one is in a set of 100 and the other 60, just needed to find the relation between them
i am kind of shitty at math, i just hang around here for the random genetics discussions

aka the gorilla poster
So I understand to convert minutes to decimals you just have to: minute/60

And people say that I shit post baka
