Only correlation I'm aware of is stress and anxiety in pregnancy can affect the child. Trying to get pregnant, especially if using IVF, can be very stressful. Google anxiety in pregnancy for details.
Pregnancy happens when a man's animal spirit overcomes a woman's and tears a piece off. The woman's body then grows a new vessel for the fragment to heal and grow in, and God then places a human soul into the flesh making it human.
A woman who is difficult to impregnate just needs a stronger man, and they will have strong babies.
