I think motivation is more important. You could be super intelligent, but if you hate Chemistry and wanted to do Physics instead, then -unless for some reason you HAVE TO major in chemistry- your super intelligence won't be used at its best.

I am so dumb/lazy I have never even completed an IQ test. On the other hand I have a GPA of 7 because I love learning shit.
And then on the other hand I will probably be worthless at applying any of this in practical situations. I fucking suck balls at working.
