Has /sci/ fallen to the Thorium meme yet? /uranium masterrace/ reporting in
Thorium is a meme. Uranium succc xD!!
>Opting for the most easily weaponized energy source possible
Isn't /sci/ supposed to be smart or is that a meme too

First time away from Reddit?
>>7961244
This is factually correct.

Even your dubs are having a hard time w/this one familia

Neo-/sci/ everyone
Just like to take this opportunity to say, goodbye Hinckley Point, looks like your days are numbered.
>>7961399
Why's that?
>>7961309
>What is M.A.D. durr.
>>7961231
You know what would be nice to see more interest in? Lead-cooled fast breeders. It'd be nice to get away from reactors using water in their inner loops.
>>7961487
>implying Mohammed al-Takbir gives a shit about your M.A.D.
>>7962681
Nuke him.
Problem solved.

EDF keeps trying to jew the French government out of more money.
>>7962857
And the Chinese are getting cold feet. EDF just promised to cover some of their risks if the project is delayed or goes over schedule.
Meanwhile, the Austrian govt is complaining to the European Commission as it sees illegal state aid in the guarantee of fixed price fuel for decades to come. If this goes through, EDF will have to give the Chinese 1.6 billion euros. (Reuters yesterday.) The whole thing is a clusterfuck and even if you are pro nuclear (hey, who isn't?), the costs of this project are bizarre and unjustifiable.
NUKE = SHIT
MEME DEGREE
NO FUTURE
GET A REAL MAJOR
>>7962868
Yeah it's fucking retarded. I was going to get a job with EDF but I'm considering turning them down if they don't pull their fingers out of their arse.
As much as I dislike BWRs I think I'll be siding with Hitachi for Wilfa's replacement.
>>7962268
>lead cooled
Is shit Molten salt reactors (see Thorium) are much better

Retard fucking detected. Nuclear reactors are extremely safe, and thorium reactors are inherently safe
